Booked through Airbnb, for 3 nights during Dev Deepawali. The room that was originally offered was newly painted and had a very strong smell. So, upon request they gave us another room that was also newly painted, but had better ventilation and the smell was not as strong. Since this other room was not prepared earlier, they readied it promptly for us, adding new furniture, bed mattress, pillows, bed cover, dustbins and toiletries in the bathroom. The earliest you can get tea and breakfast in the morning is at 8:30 am. And there are the usual kettle and glasses in each room (if not you can ask for it). For lunch/dinner you can eat at their restaurant which serves excellent veg food. You can get your room cleaned during your stay if you need/want. Overall staff behaviour is polite and attentive. The one thing they need improvement on is their WiFi connection which was very poor throughout our stay. The location is near the Benares station (not Varanasi Junction), around 2-2.5 km approx.
