PUNJABI DHABA — Restaurant in Uttar Pradesh

If you are a family person(don't consume alcohol), then you should not go this Dhaba. If you made that crime, then you should tell that you don't drink alcohol so that they can arrange elsewhere space(it might be other SPACE) :)

I made that crime on 18th april.I went there while i read reviews 2 months back, There was a comment written by poonam panday that this place is a drunkyard, which was slammed by the owner , and this is NO LIQUOR Restaurant.

I thought this might not be true,Let's check. Till date i never seen any person consume alcohal publicly in any quality dhaba or restaurants.

But today, when i odrerd my food,i saw my nearby table 2 person open a bottle, and it smells like hell (obviously, coz i don't consume)

When i gently discuss this with the billing counter person, that I came here to read the review that you slammed people who write a review that this place is drunkyard. Then they me that questions..? 1:-they ask don't you drink..?? 2:-when a person bring alcohal with him then how should i stop that 3:- This is DHABA, not restaurant,Dhaba for tha sardar,sardar consume alcohal then why should we ban it..? 4:-They also ask me to tell me any dhaba name that has ban alcohal. 4:-if you want better feel you should go to restaurant.

I answered that if you want that kind of customer, then why should I recommend our group or myself visit again your Dhaba.

I also gently ask him if I should i come here again..?

They simply refused. It amazed me..! I just paid that...

Quality, Taste and quantity all of them have degraded over years , I miss the punjabi dhaba of year 2009 to 2017. bcoz started dining there in 2009

Its been almost 15 years i have seen almost all the phases of this dhaba from being shifted on main Faizabad highway to near Anandi waterpark , then numerous renovations inside , construction of kisan path due to which dhaba area got reduced. From green grass inside open table area to interlocking tiles ,from private huts to open tables .

Handi paneer the most famous dish has totally lost it's essence, it's nowhere now to the taste and quality that was in yesteryears which always made me comeback almost thrice a week.

Now this place is not even in my list to hangout.Miss those days, everything from service to food has turned steep down now.

Hope they bring good old Punjabi dhaba back which was green ,...

Brought wrong order, which was corrected and can be ignored for once. Then demanded extra money (more than billed amount) if paying online i.e. through UPI or PayTM etc. When decided to save extra money by paying Cash, Manager/Owner at the counter did not return the full amount as they had no change, as if amount has value for him only and not for the customer. Amount may not be of big consideration but the attitude while demanding and later keeping extra money was totally strange.

Had visited earlier too, but this time experience was totally different. Didn't like the approach. No comments on food as it was spoiled for...
