To everyone reading this review in 2022, I went here in may 2022 and found that it looks like the outlet has shut down but upon enquiry comes out that its open but it doesn't look like the pictures as posted in reviews (which are 3 year old) also the menu contains a limited variety. Finding out all these changes I was skeptical to place an order (I was there at the outlet) but since I went here and talked to the owner I placed an order for malai chaap. Now talking about the taste and presentation, I had a lot of expectations in mind as I had seen the pictures in reviews, but I found that the way of preparation, the ingredients, the serving everything was such as I was standing at a road side cart and have ordered something within ₹50-80. If you are someone who relies upon reviews to find unexplored food outlets, don't go here now, maybe the main cook has changed or the owner? something must have happened during covid lockdown because there is nothing offered by this outlet as I found in the reviews. No taste at all, no vegetables in the tandoori variants, green chutni flows like water, everything is poor now. I don't recommend Rozana restaurant to anyone, not even to budget foodies.
Someone in the reviews has mentioned that this shop uses Amul butter. NO! This shop Uses Delicious Brand butter which is a cheap alternative (palm oil based) which only looks like butter but is actually a poor...
Read moreTASTE:- same as that of Delhi Punjabi chaaps quite comparable.
POTION SIZE/AMOUNT OF CHAAP:- 3/4 th of that served in Delhi...so unlike Delhi u cannot replace it with lunch or dinner....also Rumali roti is also not served along with it as it is served in Delhi...it's like snack here in allahabad
COST: In Delhi half plate costs 70-80₹ along with 2 Rumali roti Here it's around 90-100 without Rumali roti
NUTRITION: It's very nutritious for Vegetarians also some non vegetarians started giving up non veg after eating this as taste is similar plus no health hazards which non veg has like antibiotics resistance.
This shop runs a lot so the items served are always fresh. Also they use Amul butter.
So overall it's nice to have it here in our city but some people like me specially students cannot afford it daily or as dinner/ lunch...Also people should hit a try if they haven't tried...best food available overall
RUN...
Read moreAmazing Soya Chaap. I believe this is the only place in Allahabad where you can eat Chaap. If you know some other place, kindly tell me. Coming back to the review, this place offers good food. The shop is small and the seating space is scarce but when the food is very good, these things rarely matter. The chaap here is awesome. I have tried Malai Chaap and Afghani Chaap and they were extremely delicious. No complaints about the taste. The price is bit exorbitant. They could have priced it a bit low because of the certain shortcomings like open air roadside...
