Sagar Ratna — Restaurant in Uttar Pradesh

Sagar Ratna is a brand people trust, I went to sec 17 Chandigarh and it was worst experience as they were unable to handle crowd. In Vrindavan this restaurent was not capable of handling more than 15 people. Their Air Conditioning was a complete disaster, waiters were untrained or rookies and didn't know what they were doing. They forgot what order they took. I think Sagar Ratna should rethink and do something about their chain or it is at the brink of falling apart! Also I doubt the quality of the food they served us dahi vada which was stale. I asked for Manager and the guy told me that he is waiting downstairs and lied to us. No one ever took any pain to resolve any queries. All other customers also lost it as their orders were super delayed. They should have the courage to refuse the customers instead of serving them bad food! Please never go to...

I recently visited this Sagar Ratna restaurant and had a wonderful dining experience that I’m excited to share. The menu offered authentic South Indian flavors that truly impressed me. I tried the buttermilk, which was perfectly spiced and refreshing. The idli chaat was a creative twist on the traditional idli, with excellent texture and flavorful chutneys. The idli fries were an interesting innovation - crispy on the outside while maintaining that soft idli texture within. The rawa dosa was cooked to perfection, crispy and golden with a nice crunch in every bite. To finish, the kesari rawa (sheera) was the perfect sweet ending - rich, aromatic, and not overly sweet.

I’ve eaten at several Sagar Ratna outlets before and have always appreciated their quality, but the Vrindavan outlet was a disaster. They served us stale buttermilk, which we immediately sent back, but the staff outright denied that there was anything wrong with it. The orange chutney tasted off, and the green chutney had a strong preservative smell. The staff was completely untrained – they couldn’t get our order right even after we repeated it four times, and they spilled sambar all over the table while serving.
