Doon Memories ( 100% Eggless Bakery) — Restaurant in Uttarakhand

This was my first and definitely my last order from this bakery. Doon Memories, you are not creating memories, you are helping people ruin them. I honestly hope my memory of eating such a horrible cake just vanishes. I don’t even have low sugar issues, yet what I got was pure sugar syrup disguised as a cake. After a single bite, I lost my senses. How hard is it to make a simple pineapple cake? I don’t even run a bakery, but I can bake a far better cake than what you delivered. The way you quoted your prices made me believe I was about to taste the best pineapple cake in Dehradun. But the reality? UNCHI DUKAAN, FEEKA PAKWAAN (ohh sorry, diabetes wala pakwaan). And to top it all off, you even managed to mess up a basic picture print on the cake, something so simple yet done using zero brains. ₹600 per pound for that yuck pineapple cake? Seriously?? If you ever need help with baking and using a little common sense, I would be more than happy to guide you.

Such a big disappointment this bakery is! After seeing all the 5-star reviews, we ordered from Doon Memories for Teachers' Day. It was supposed to be a simple printed cake, but what we received was a huge letdown. The picture they printed was so small, as if it was for a 1 pound cake, even though we ordered 2 pounds.

When I asked the owner about it, she gave so many excuses, as if I was ordering a cake for the first time. Dude, Downtown Bakers is way above your standards. There's no comparison between them and this bakery.

Honestly, she didn’t even use 1% of her brain.

I had sent her a picture of the cake design I wanted, including the image to be printed. But she printed the entire picture including the cream piping, which should have been part of the cake design, not the printed image.

And the best part? She didn’t even accept her mistake and kept giving ridiculous reasons.

P.S. - Replying to every review won’t be enough to justify ruining someone’s...

They are fraud. Yesterday I bought cream rolls which they took inside to refill with cream and when they cameto know that was I have only ordered this thing worth 100 INR. They only filled 1 creamroll out of 5. Rest when we opened packet at home creamrolls was empty. Third class bakery ruining reputation of our Dehradun. I read other reviews too feel like they are only open to cheat people. This review is not about creamroll or the amount spent by shows how the treat their customers. Even shop had a sales girl seems her first day. Even in day time she asked why AC is not ON one of her colleague mentioned it will not be open without the shop owners permission. This shows their mentality as if they could not suffice basic needs of employees in summer time how worst they can treat their customers.....
