Ladder To Lounge — Restaurant in Uttarakhand

Dehradun is blooming with new pubs these days and the one that is grabbed my eyeballs recently is Ladder to Lounge. It was one of those goody good days when the sun shone bright, localites bewildered with happiness and chirping birds throughout the hills of shivalik. We reached Pacific golf estate in an hour only to discover that the property of Hotel Hill View is bang opposite to the estate.

Sahastradhara Road has finally got a beautiful lounge with a unique concept of climbing ladders to have your chill pill. Haha. Well literally not, though. If you see the interiors it has ladder themed staircases with upcycled seating arrangement like tyres as chairs. Pretty cool, isn't it? I found the fountain upon entering very soothing and the logo behind it the perfect setting to the ambiance.

People those who say plastic flowers look so unrealistic should actually visit letter to lounge. They have maintained the place properly with required sanitization techniques. The bar area is properly decked with cocktails mocktails and hard drinks. You can customise your own shorts as well. Their hospitality is impeccable and so is their food, which we will discuss in future posts. Did I say that they have one of the best view of the mighty Doon valley from their property?

I tried my hands on crispy corn, berry glass, Murgh malai Kebab, dry chilli chicken, cigar rolls, white sauce pasta, butter chicken with assorted breads and Gulab Jamun. However what garnered my heart and soul the most is their Chicken Malai Kebab and butter chicken with assorted breads. Lets know about these two dishes and my tryst with it, in detail.

Murgh Malai Kebab is one of those hotshot delicacies on restaurant menu that seems more like a ritual than anything else. No matter what else I try my hands on, this one has to be a part of my gastronomical experience.

Popularly known as, Reshmi Kebab, these are said to have originated from the Mughal era. You are bound to go head over heels with its appeal itself. Twisting the skewers from time to time in order to reheat the kebabs and witnessing the smoke coming out is a visual treat we all love.

The taste of thick yogurt, cream, cheese and a melange of spices leave a mark on your tastebuds, ensuring you to have another one (and pry for another plate as well, it's so darn addicting haha). The kebabs revealed a "Melt-in-mouth" saga as bitten into pieces; juicy, succulent, tender chicken, just the way we love it. Ladder to lounge deserves a big bow for this, already.

I have always said this and will keep saying that, main course dishes make or break the identity of any restaurant. Here at Ladder to Lounge I found some really delicious delicacies that would convince me to return back super soon. Lets get to know what's on the table today.

Butter chicken is one of those enigmatic dishes that boasts of immense history, culture and heritage. I found the butter chicken here, aptly prepared with thick cream and yogurt, layered with spices (I am still slurping and burping upon seeing the pattern of the cream on top...mmmm). It's rich yet exhibits a mild sweet flavour while savoured. It's not essentially delicious but something beyond that. Heavenly bliss!

Let alone be peas Pulao, Paneer butter masala, mushroom masala, etc etc. You'll be having their butter chicken...

This place is absolutely ravishing🤩 . I really had an amazing time🔥, the aura of the place was really commendable💫. The huge seating area is nicely decorated and is picture perfect✨. The food and drinks was delicious and was served beautifully🤩. The staff was very professional. The natural lighting and fresh air along with comforting✨ seating area and delicious😋 food was an awesome experience💫. Definitely, recommend to visit this place 🔥.

Serving these delicious😋 Indian cuisine🤩 ladder to lounge is much more💫 than just an ordinary lounge. The flavours💥 were unmatched along with amazing✨ presentation. This picture includes, tandoori dal makhani, paneer butter masala, assorted bread, raita, mushrooms matar hara pyaz like no other, and delicious😋 butter chicken🍗.

With splendid✨ flavours this delicious 😋"berry glass" 🍹had a unique taste. Ravishing 🤩to look at, it is creamy and smooth. With tickling✨ taste of delicious berry it is thick in texture. Perfect💫 for some sweet cravings, I'll definitely recommend you to try this out💥.

ladder to lounge is always ready to serve picture perfect✨ delicious Oreo shakes🍹. The presentation is incredibly elegant💫 and goes along with the ambience🤩 of the place. The flavour of the shake complements💥 the taste of other dishes served. Being not too sweet yet carrying sophisticated✨ taste, it is surely worth a try💫.

White sauce pasta😋 at ladder to lounge is something more then the usual💥. The pasta is incredibly creamy✨ and smooth. You can taste all rich flavours distinctively, making it more mouthwatering😋. The beautiful toppings 🤩are no exception, along with flavour fused garlic bread💫.

Delicious 😋"chilli chicken" served at ladder to lounge is definitely more than a normal meal✨, it not only tastes good 💥but is also visually stunning 🔥. The colorful veggies are eye-catching🤩 and equally delicious😋. The overall flavours are just wow💫!
