Well, I love South Indian food, so I am very selective about the taste and authenticity. A friend of mine recommended me this amazing Dosa Point at Jakhan, Manna Kitchen Dosa Point. When you have a restaurant that is only serving South Indian, the food should be good and I almost drooled when I first ate their dosa.
Food : This is the first time when I ate a Beetroot Dosa, I would recommend everyone to try it once ( Healthy + Tasty ). Every dish that they serve is worth every single penny you spend. Do try their coffee as well, you won't find a coffee like that anywhere in Doon.
Ambience : For someone who loves staying away from a lot of crowd and commotion, the place is perfect for you. Small yet appealing!. A perfect place to spend some quality time and if you also love eating authentic South Indian, its a win win for you.
Customer Service : This place is run by a lady named Suja, she hails from South India and cooks all the food that is served by herself despite the number of customers being less or more. All your feedbacks are welcomed and are taken very seriously. I just gave a feed back of pouring the Sambhar in the plate rather than giving it in plastic container, she came out, apologized and gave a rationale of why she does that. She poured it in the plate then and there. I know its not a big thing but small things always make a huge impact.

I used to genuinely enjoy eating at Manna Kitchen Dosa Point and was happy to pay ā¹160 for idli or vada because the food was always fresh and satisfying. But lately, my experience has been consistently disappointing.
On multiple visits, the food just hasnāt been fresh. The idlis were clearly reheated, and the vadas lacked that fresh, crisp taste. During my latest visit, we ordered sambar rice, and it was served like khichdiāalready mixed with sambar and topped with ghee without asking us. When my mom politely asked why it was served like that and mentioned that not everyone prefers ghee, the staff casually said, āYou should have informed us if you didnāt want ghee.ā Thatās not how it should be served, and no effort was made to correct it.
We paid ā¹240 for that plate, which came with two papads, a small portion of undercooked aloo sabzi, and some pickle. To make things worse, they didnāt even serve us water until we askedāand this isnāt the first time thatās happened.
Itās not about the pricingāit's the lack of freshness, quality, and basic service. Unfortunately, after several such experiences, Iāve decided Iām never going to visit Manna Kitchen Dosa...
