North Point Eatery Café Restaurant, Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Uttarakhand

A very bad experience for me. I usually dont post low ratings, but this one i had no option. Let me share. The google map location has been deliberately incorrectly placed. It seems like it is on the national highway but it is not. It is located inside a very narrow road with 90 degree right angle turn. At the second turn, which is already very narrow, they have further placed iron bars which makes the road even more narrow exactly at the turn. My ciaz car got damaged trying to take the turn. The guard standing at the turn is good for nothing. He just simply stands and does nothing. The food is average. Just like any other restaurant around. Not worth the pain traveling through these painful roads. The environment is serene, but there are temples nearby which play nice bhajans. So you can enjoy your whisky or beer listening to the blissful bhaians. A nice combination!! Locals wont visit this place as there are 100s of better restaurants in the city, and tourists wont come here as they would prefer going to Nainital instead. The temperature here is as hot as haldwani. We stayed here for around 2 hours, 7:30 PM to 09:30 PM on peak summers when hills are overcrowded with tourists. But in the entire 2 hours, there was only one more couple in the entire 3 floor restaurant. Yet it has so many bloggers talking about? Something is fishy here! Alongwith GST, they added service charge to our bill. When we asked, the waitress straight away said 'Remove ho jaega sir'. Why did they add it in the first place??? They are looting people with their money. Shameful!!!

And SURPRISINGLY, all the 700 reviews before me, none of them have mentioned about the bad location. I doubt are they all...

Speaking of the food, everything we ordered was absolutely delicious. The ingredients were fresh and of the highest quality, and the dishes were expertly prepared. We especially enjoyed the appetizers and the main course, which were both flavorful and satisfying.
