Pahadi Kitchen — Restaurant in Uttarakhand

The only good thing this restaurant has - is a great catchy name and views. Other than the name and location, everything else is terrible.

I would like to share terrible experience i had ( and also witnessed other guest seated next to my table with similar experience).

To start with , service quality does not deserve any rating , the service quality was pathetic, restaurant owner was extremely rude , the waiters were impolite , i sat for over 10-15 mins and had to request someone to take my order while the place had only 3 visitors including me. Over all staff were over 5-6 including the restaurant owner who was extremely thankless, rude on the face and blatant liar.

Coming to the food order- clear instructions were given however incorrect order was served & upon checking with the restaurant owner, he was aggresisve & was defending his own staff instead of replacing the order and apologizing.

The food was of terrible quality and was nothing of "pahadi flavour" or taste was there.

I would urge people who look into the reviews , to not visit this place and if by any chance you land up here , please focus on your order, give immediate feedback and share reviews here to save others from his such terrible experience.

One can go there after climbing two floors to have tea ( you can't go that wrong with tea ) as views from the restaurant...

Ok so this place will look like a little fancy restaurant however the service is worse.. Food is ok-ok. One bald guy who told that he is the manager however was completely lacking in management and customer service skills... who was also afraid to tell his name refused to offer any help. He bluntly said that you can put whatever review you want. The other waiter Rohit... Put 25rs for butter in bill as we requested to use butter to fry the Daal. This was a first time low level experience from any restaurant I have visited so far. Even the road side dhabaas never ask for butter money like that....it was not a question of 25rs and the amount is almost negligible but it is about that extorting money from the customer in every possible way & not even thinking about their restaurant, 's reputation. They started arguing and passing sarcastic comment over such a small amount. When asked to let us talk to the owner, they straight up denied. That arguement made the whole experience a very poor one. I will never visit again and wont recommend to...

I ordered paneer butter masala and roti, veg pulao, mix raita all items are good in tast and quantity. Staff also good.
