The Silverspoon, Bhimtal — Restaurant in Uttarakhand

Ambience:

This restaurant has decent ambience. The place has ample space and make one feel and see the beauty of the mountains right our of the restaurant window 😍😍😍 Since it is the restaurant of the Watergate hotel, majority of the guests prefer to have food here.

Staff:

The staff here is so humble and generous. They make sure you are comfortable and are enjoying the food 😋😋😋 The manager himself visited us to know how the breakfast was and made sure we had a good time 👍

Food:

Now, this is the part which is most important and since I am foodie I like to review the food everywhere.

At night of our stay we ordered Butter Paneer and Dal makhani with butter naan and tandoori rotis.

Butter Paneer was impeccably tasty 😋😋😋 honestly it had amazing flavours and each bite just exploded immense amount of pleasurable flavors in mouth 🤤🤤🤤 It was impeccably tasty 👍 So in my recommendation do try it out.

Dal makhani was good but I have tasted better Dal Makhani. The Dal Makhani felt less aged as compared to what a truly delicious Dal Makhni would taste like. So that could be improved.

Breads are very important part of the meal specially in India and for Indians. Butter Naan was so soft and tasty. But what I didn't like was that the tandoori roti wasn't upto the mark. Infact we changed our order and asked them to serve us naan and not the tandoori roti.

The next day we had our breakfast in the restaurant and what breakfast 😍😍😍

First we were served with a juice which is made from some flowers (can't recall exactly the name 😂😂😂) and it was an amazing start and the taste of the drink was sweet with a lot of fruity aroma 🤤🤤🤤

Next came the Poha. Now I swear in my entire life I haven't such amazing poha 😍😍😍 I am not a Poha enthusiast but I couldn't resist but take two serving of the Poha. It had everything and more 😋😋😋 I fell in love of it honestly 😍😍😍

Next came aloo ki sabzi and poori. Now I have never in my life liked aloo gravy from anyone's hand than my mom, but for this once I was in love with this aloo gravy sabzi 😋😋😋 It had great flavours 😍😍😍

Omlette was our third dish and it was so amazing as well 😊😊😊

Finally we had coffee and left the restaurant in complete bliss.

Anyone staying at Watergate or around must have food at Silverspoon. I highly recommend this place for dinner, lunch and specially for breakfast.

The price is nominal as compared to the quality of food served and the services given 👍 Thoroughly enjoyed our food at Silverspoon... Kudos to the amazing staff and the chef...

The staff were friendly, charming and polite throughout the hotel. The breakfast serving staff really seemed to care whether we enjoyed the food or not, smiled a lot and were attentive without being overbearing.

The food itself was delicious: for me the idli with vegetables was the standout, never had it before but can't wait to have it again. The dosa was very tasty, the juice and chai were both great, there was a decent choice and you can eat/drink as much as you like.

Just a really pleasant visit, for a really good price, staffed by really nice people. You can't get...

This is the perfect example of a good hotel 🏨 I recently visited with my family at Aaroham the Watergate hotel and it was nicely made hotel. Very nice ambiance in Restaurant area. Nice and peaceful place for spending night on bone fire 🔥 Located just near the Bhimtal lake(perfect location),the hotel is clean and provides u great hospitality.The hotel manager Mr.Vinod Prakash joshi is very helpful and friendly person.
