I recently had the pleasure of dining at Tree Cafe Restaurant in Dehradun, and I must say it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. This restaurant has truly earned its place as one of the best dining spots in the city. Here are a few reasons why I highly recommend Tree Cafe Restaurant.

Ever since the restaurant upgraded its menu and revamped the seating arrangements in its café, I had been eager to revisit and experience the changes for myself. Having had some incredible meals here in the past, my expectations were naturally high.

We ordered the Chicken Grilled Burger, which used to be an easy 11/10—flavorful, juicy, and absolutely satisfying. However, this time, it was quite a letdown. The flavors felt muted, the texture was off, and it lacked the punch that once made it a standout. Sadly, I’d rate it a 5/10 now.

We also tried the Chicken Club Sandwich, another former favorite that had previously earned a solid 11/10 from me. While it was still decent, it didn’t quite hit the same mark. The flavors were there, but something was missing—perhaps the seasoning, the freshness, or just that extra touch that made it exceptional before. I’d give it a 7/10 this time.

I truly hope the team takes a closer look at the new menu and works on refining it because this place has the potential to be as amazing as it once was. Hoping to see it back...

The restaurant's decor was beautiful, with natural elements like plants and wood accents creating a calming and peaceful ambiance.

But the real star of the show was the food. Everything I tried was delicious, fresh, and bursting with flavor. The menu had a great variety of options, from vegetarian to meat dishes, and everything in between. I particularly enjoyed the Kadhai Chicken and banjara kabab. The Virgin mojito and ice tea we had was also exceptional - perfectly brewed and beautifully presented.
