Kokan Shubann Lunch Home — Restaurant in Vasai-Virar

It was my first visit after a friends recommendation and went along with my family. Though it's a small joint, were welcomed with family gestures and humbly explained the dishes that were available (as we stopped by after 4pm for lunch). Our order placed were for Surmai thali, Prawns sukha, Bombil Fry, cauliflower bhaji and bhakri. And wow, the dishes were awesomely prepared having an relishing taste and keeping the flavours well balanced. Loved every bit till round two of the Bombil Fry. A reel on instagram made me to visit this place...a small tiny restraunt located in vasai east just a min walk from the station. Visited on a Sunday so could find parking easily..on weekdays is close to impossible .

The food is amazing..we had the prawn masala,pomfret fish curry,bombil rava fry and kombdi wade..good home cooked food Light on the pocket as well.A must try.

The ambience is not at all great..but clean and tidy, quick service keeps you...

It is a small quiet place serving homely food. We ordered prawns tava thali for lunch. The food was disappointing with very small micro sized prawns in a masala mix that was not great to taste. The bhakri served was stale and pathetic. The owner served himself and took good care but the food in itself was very poor. The prices are reasonable. Not worth a second...
