Zeal 2 Restaurant and Bar — Restaurant in Vasai-Virar

I recently had the opportunity to dine at Zeal 2, a trendy establishment known for its captivating atmosphere. Walking into the restaurant, I was immediately captivated by the stylish decor and well-thought-out interior design. The lighting was warm and inviting, creating a cozy and intimate atmosphere. The modern furnishings added a touch of elegance, making it an ideal setting for a special night out or a gathering with friends.

Unfortunately, despite the promising ambiance, the food at restaurant did not quite live up to the expectations set by the setting. While the menu offered an interesting selection of dishes, the execution fell short in some areas.

For starters we ordered KEBABS and they were really good. The meat was cooked to perfection, tender and juicy, with the flavors infused deep within. They were Like finger licking good!!!

For main course, ordered BUTTER CHICKEN with ROTI and it really lacked spices. It was not terrible but it lacked the depth and refinement that one would expect from a restaurant of this caliber. Later ordered BIRYANI which had a blend of aromatic spices and seasonings infused in every bite creating a symphony of flavours.

Our first experience of today 1st impression is the last impression When we have entered inside the hotel we have asked for sofa not a small table as we were four [with family] and have kid with us so requested to give a sofa we sat where a family room they have from their - then waiter has said not to seat in sofa as ur 4 so take a table we requested we have a kid and we need sofa they have not given in family room they were just dragging here and there after my husband was angry they gave us to seat in non family room where all mens sit and we were not comfortable As we have been inside and took seat so we ordered small starters and mocktail we left Ambience is fine Overall not appreciated.. Food is ok -BUT VERY COSTLY_ I THINK YOU PEOPLE CHARGE TOO MUCH HERE WE WILL NEVER VISIT AGAIN BECAUSE OF BAD BEHAVIOURS OF THE MANAGER AND WAITER REALLY NOT...

We had been to this place on 31st dec, assuming there would be the same service and taste, unfortunately it turned out to be great disappointment, I would not recommend this to anyone to be here with a great expectation

After renovation, we been to this place, found-

There was limited menu, no seafood which used to be there prior to renovation Food was too expensive, (can you imagine a appetiser called mash room tikka for 300 bucks with no taste at all), same goes for mutton and chicken dishes, they were too expensive and no taste Service was very well disorganised, most of the time we had to ask the captain not to pickup dishes since we were yet to finish the meal course, also rice dishes were arrived before gravy and had to eat the food which got cold by the time it arrived
