AB's-Absolute Barbecues — Restaurant in West Bengal

I visited the AB's Madhyamgram with my family including my parents, wife and my nine months old baby girl for lunch. The first thing which impressed me is their staff's behaviour, my father is physically abled whereas my mother has severe joint pain, so the available staffs checked each and every time for food options they want. They even provided the meal in our table whereas they only provide the starters usually. Apart from them they provide a kid friendly chair for my baby girl and also provide some colorful balloons for her.

Now, in food options I booked the slot for lunch and paid 524(inclusive of all taxes) per head and in this price they provide me both veg and non veg starters of different items likes mushrooms, prawns, fishes and chickens including one complimentary juice item with phuchkas etc. On main course there were Rohu fish, chicken dishes, noodles, basanti pulao, biriyani etc. In desert section there were four kinds of ice creams, gulab jamuns, cakes, pastries, fruits, payesh, curd etc. In this price they provided all the items properly cooked, freshed and brilliant in taste. Most importantly each and every time their executives asked us about our suggestions so that they can enhance the tastes of those foods according to our choice. In this price you'll not get any mutton items and wish grill section. But you can order separate mutton items as per your choice in ala carte mode.

Now one of the most important part of a resturant is their washroom and belive me the washroom was nett and clean inspite of its small spaces. Apart from that the overall resturant ambience was terrific and well decorated with various graffities, photos and quotations related to food.

In the last part of my description I want to add one more vital point which won my heart that is the anniversary celebration arrangement which they made for my parents. Though it is a very common gestures by the restaurant likes AB's but still the behaviour of the available staffs on that time won my heart.

We pre-booked our table in Absolute Barbecue Apps from google play store and we got a discount of Rs 150 on the full bill. Our scheduled time was 12 pm. We reached there around 12:15pm and we got our seats immediately. The seating arrangements were very comfortable. I went there for the first time. The meal started with a tiny aloo tikki with white sauce, it was average in taste. Then came the different types of chicken tandoors, peri peri chicken wings🍗 and fish tandoor, the portion size was too good.Every item was wonderful in taste and the chicken was very tender to eat. But what I liked the most among the tandoors was the Fish grill.They also served paneer tandoor, it was good in taste. Then they served Crispy Fried Prawns🦐🍤, which was the best item of the whole meal, although sometimes it took about 3-4 minutes to be served at the table after ordering, I think it's better to wait a bit to eat the prawns. Because the prawns were so delicious, if you don't have any allergies then it's not to miss the prawns.

In the main course, vegetarian included their Steamed Rice, Aloo Dum, Kadai Paneer, Basanti Polao, Chilli Gallic Noodles, Veg Manchurian, Dal Tarka, Sweet Corn Veg Soup, Tandoori Bread.

And Non-Veg included Egg Fried Rice, Rui Fish Curry, Chilli Chicken, Butter chicken, Chicken kimma soup, Garlic naan.

Also the live counter of main course had Handi Chicken Biryani, Handi Mutton, Chilli Octopus Fry🐙, Fuchka, Pasta, Yoghurt Puri, Papri Chaat, many more dishes, every item was delicious. This is my first time eating octopus 🐙, but I really liked it. For dessert there were Moong Dal Halwa, Grape Gulab Jamun, Litchi Pastry, Absolut Barbeque Special Celebration Pastry, Mixed Fruit Jellies, Brownies with assorted pastries.

The live counter had these three ice creams 🍨🍦 in unlimited chocolate, strawberry and vanilla flavors, which were being customized into betel leaves flavor and chili flavor🌶️ from the live counter and many more items. Mocktails & Drinks (Very Good - 4.5/5)

Mocktails were refreshing and well-prepared, adding a nice touch to the meal.

Desserts (Few but Tasty - 3.5/5)

The dessert section had fewer options but what was available tasted good.

However, considering the price, a wider selection would have been appreciated.

Portion Size & Value for Money (3/5)

The portion sizes were noticeably smaller than BBQ Nation, making the experience feel a bit less satisfying.

Given the price, the overall value for money was just average.
