We visited Koreseong Diaries during our trip to Darjeeling and let me tell you, we were not disappointed. What a wonderful place! Tucked away in Korseong, this quaint eatery gave us a night to remember. Entering the building in which it is located, we were slightly taken aback at the state of it, but as we progressed up the stairs we were pleasantly surprised. The ambience is welcoming and the perfect place to sit back, enjoy some great music and indulge in some delicious food. There was a wonderful band playing love music, which was an absolute treat. Some of the most talented musicians we have ever seen were present and we undoubtedly knew that we had to leave them a generous tip. It was great giving music suggestions and seeing the band play songs at the drop of a hat without any rehearsal. The menu was great with lots of variety and vegetarian options. As for the food, to start with we ordered a plate of veg momos, veg thukpa and a sweet corn soup. The momos were soft and pillowy and with a delicious soup which was cleansing to the palette. While the thukpa was delicious, it was personally a bit spicy for me and the sweet corn soup was flavourful and soothing. For the main course we ordered naan and veg Kolhapuri. The naan was perfectly crispy and soft simultaneously, and the gravy was great. The staff was well mannered and made great conversation with us. One suggestion would be to add a lift since it is a whole lot of stairs to climb, and the building in which it is located could use a bit of sprucing up in order to make it more approachable of a place. Nevertheless, we had a...

Me n my friend visited yesterday at this restaurant. The ambience and the view is super good. As we both are from kurseong itself so the location is also superb. We entered around 11am almost and we both had a great time gossiping and side by side we ordered 02 mocktails, french fries and honey chilli potato, whereas we could make it out that in honey chilli potato we could get the sweetness of sugar not honey. They are very much clever. That dish just took my mood away, but thinking we could get something better we ordered again. Now it was cigar roll and as veg sizzler was not in the menu but after asking we ordered so we got that as well. I would suggest people not to order anything out of the menu it is very expensive. So we received the order paneer sizzler which was worst from expectations and taste too. We spent around 3 hours and it was almost 1:30 there was much crowd in the restaurant. The female staffs were really good and helpful. Slowly the manager I think and 1 guy was continuously looking at us and made me feel so ackwrd. There expressions were like now leave the table we have guests here. That was so so embarrassing. Though they didn't tell anything but we could make it out with expressions. I had thought to order the main course have proper lunch and go as we were traveling back to Siliguri but had to leave by 1:30. Anyways it was an average experience in the restaurant.

**Recommended for management to make at least 2-3 usable washrooms as we had to wait hours for using. My first n last visit...

Cafe Kurseong Diaries is actually Kurseong Diaries as it is a restaurant cum cafe. The rooftop restaurant above Amarjeet Hotel in Kurseong is named Kurseong Diaries. Live music is played by talented young musicians from the evening onwards till dinner time. It also has sections dedicated to the famous schools of Kurseong like Goethals nicknamed as the Goats, etc. The food and drinks available at Kurseong Diaries are sumptous and good. My favourite breakfast is the Non Veg Breakfast platter that consists of chicken sausages and salami, assorted vegetables 🥦🥕🌽 and potato wedges. Being the land of tea estates it is difficult to deny drinking it without milk here, though the masala tea and milk tea variants are also available. This time I tried the Pan Grill Chicken and it was amazing. A wonderful place to chill out in and I recommend it to all tourists who are passing through Kurseong to rest here for a couple of hours and enjoy the scenery and the food.

Had a great experience during a late lunch. Just few steps south of Kurseong station on the same side of the road - the restaurant is set up at the top/upper floor of Amarjeet hotel. Parking is a problem we heard, our car driver dropped us and parked somewhere else, came back when we finished and we’re ready to depart. We checked 1 or 2 other in the vicinity, but unanimously recommended by all for this one. Right choice. Very clean, spacious floor with nice ambient light. There’s a small balcony (doubles up as smoking lounge), which has great view of The Valley, and also Station. All food items were delicious. Both Mughlai (Biriyani) and Chinese (chowmein etc) were equally good. It took some time to serve, but not too much. Bonus was experiencing a view of the toy train chugging down the road.
