Cafe is a small place for drinks and short meals. But this concept of French Cafe has evolved with time and in the present day scenario The City Of Joy has amazing Cafe which serves some amazing drinks and food in a lively ambience which is very popular amongst students and young millennials.

One such beautiful Cafe in North Kolkata is Fryde which is getting popular day by day for it's awesome ambience and some lipsmacking continental food.

Let's talk about the food that we tried -

Cool Blue - Is a superb refreshing drink made with Curacao Syrup , Soda , Sprite and filled with loads of ice in it. A slow sip into this wonder over a Durga Puja Hangout will surely spice up the Puja Fever. Its modestly priced at Rs 99/-

Water Melon Mohito - This is the showstopper. It has a unique taste which is acquired through the use of lemon wedges , fresh mint , soda , watermelon mohito syrup. If you are visiting this cafe then this is surely going to be in your to do list. Its priced at Rs. 99/-

Chicken Nuggets with Cocktail Sauce - The nuggets are prepared inhouse by using Mozarella Cheese , Smashed Chicken , loads of spices all these are coated in panco crumb coating and deep fried till perfection. Its served with a tangy sause which enhances the taste by many folds. This is another 5 Star Dish of this cafe and I'm simply in love with this culinary wonder. What a taste !!! Six pieces are served in it. Its priced at Rs. 249/-

Chicken Tikka Pizza Large - Surely quite different from the pizzas we are familiar with and it tastes yumm. Its prepared in a home made thin crust tortilla base and the toppings are of Chicken Tikka , Capcicum , Chilli , Home Made Pizza sausce , Mozarella Cheese and herbs. It's really heavy and will easily serve 3 people. It is priced at Rs 399/-

Barbeque Sesame Wings - These are deep fried chicken wings topped with sesame and served with home made barbeq sauce. The feel of the crisp and the chicken inside is superb. It goes so well with a friendly chit chat. It is priced at Rs 249/-

This cafe is a cool place to spend some quality time with your near and dear ones over a game of Carrom or Ludo or Dart. If you are a book worm , you can find different variety of books to spend some time with. Opened in May 2019 and there has been no looking back since then.

The food is the most happening thing and the centre of attraction of Fryde Cafe.

As Fryday is the most happening day of a week as it sets the mood - Its the start of weekend which most of us are desperately eyeing for. Same goes with Fryde Cafe it will surely lift up the mood.

FryDe, the name says it all. No, it's not Friday. The meaning is very simple. "Give me fries", this is what it is. So as the name suggests, I assumed the Fries will be the showstopper right? I'll come to that but before that, let me tell you about the location.

Located a minute walk from the Rathtala Rath Ghar, FryDe cafe serves some amazing dishes for you to be mollycoddled at homely ambiance. Mostly created for the students, office goers and art lovers like me. The whole ambiance is filled with either wall art or the paintings. In future they're planning to spare one wall for doodling as well. The prices are very decent. Now coming to the things I've tried,

Bbq Sesame Chicken Wings (₹249) : 6pieces of Chicken wings tossed in barbeque sauce with some sesame seeds on top. I was dumbfounded by the taste.

Crispy Fried Chicken (₹249) : Best in one word. 6pieces of fried chicken served with some mayonnaise. We all know a very well known brand selling fried chicken with much much higher price. Trust me, this taste delish and for a price like this, I'd say this one is the best. Recommended.

Hariyali Chicken Tikka Pizza (₹249) : A bit on the spicier side. I'd definitely recommended you to try this hot. The spiciness of the hariyali tikka complimented the pan pizza really well. Recommended.

Grilled Chicken Ceaser Sandwich (₹199) : Pretty decent. The amount of filling inside was something to highlight but I'd definitely recommend you to have this as soon as they serve.

The beverages were good but if I have to pick one, then I'd definitely go for green apple punch and would suggest you to do the same.
