Thanks to a light lunch, i had started feeling hungry by 5.30 in the evening. And then it started raining. Perfect day for tel'e'bhaja n muri, except that i didn't feel like having that. Felt like having a good chicken roll. One with a light and crispy porota, nice and spicy filling, melt in the mouth chicken roll.

But Newtown isnt known for having such good roll places..so i looked elsewhere. Google showed this place and after reading many good reviews, I decided to give it a try. Wasn't available in swiggy or Zomato but nothing can come between a hungry bong and his food!

Booked a rapido and requested the driver to pick up the roll and deliver it to me. Firsy guy said he can't so i cancelled and booked another. The 2nd guy was kind enough to oblige my request. Finally after 2 hours of effort later, got my hands on the roll at 7.40.

But after finishing the roll in less than 5 mins, i was glad and sad both! Sad because the roll didn't live upto it's expectations. The chicken filling was hard, there was too much tomato sauce and the overall taste was nothing great. Glad because i didn't spend an hour to go there to eat personally.

The rating is for the taste as well as the fact that they don't accept online payments in today's age. My rapido driver had to take out cash from the ATM and then pay them. I tipped him for that generously, but my hunt for a good roll in new town continues. Till the...
