I recently dined at Rice & Spice in Dankuni, and it was an exceptional experience! The restaurant offers a fantastic variety of authentic biryani, and I was blown away by the rich flavors and perfectly cooked rice. The tandoor items were equally impressive—juicy, tender, and bursting with spices. I also tried their Chinese dishes, which were a delightful surprise, showcasing a great fusion of flavors. The inviting atmosphere made it a perfect spot for a relaxed meal, and the attentive staff added to the overall experience. I recently visited this gem of a restaurant, and I must say it’s a paradise for Indian food and momo lovers! From the moment I stepped in, the aroma of spices and sizzling tandoori dishes was enough to set the mood for a flavorful journey.

Every dish we ordered was a hit — from the buttery and rich Dal Makhani to the perfectly grilled Chicken Tikka. The spices were balanced beautifully, and you could taste the authenticity in every bite. The naan was soft and served fresh from the tandoor — just the way it should be!

In spite of loud noise of frequent movement of trains this restaurant has a calm,cool and serene atmosphere of it's own to pass and enjoy some good times over eating all palatable dishes specially chicken/ mutton biryani. One thing which most displeased and disturbed me was the location of the two big precious ceilng fans.Air flow from these fans does not reach upto the farthest part of the seating arrangements(sofas).It should be looked into and taken care of.
