Snacks Zone — Restaurant in West Bengal

This place used to serve very good food but I don't know why they decided to change their chef recently. The new chef has no idea about recipe and methods. Last night I went there and ordered White Sauce and and Hyderabadi Biriyani. In the white sauce pasta there were literally lime juice and cardamom powder (elach guro) who would expect that, I thought maybe that dropped somehow in case of herbs then the restaurant authority confirmed the chef said he/she puts cardamom powder in white sauce pasta very disappointing from chef. And about the biriyani (completely my personal opinion some might like it) was served with dry fruits as I'm eating something sweet. The waiter suggested to mention things like that before ordering but again in who would think that there might be cardamom powder and lime juice in their pasta and biriyani will be served with dry fruits. The resturent authority was very good with their service they immediately replaced the pasta. This snack zone restaurant is located just opposite the Indian Oil Petrol Pump after crossing the Kharkhari Bridge at the entrance of Raghunathganj. The restaurant is on 1st floor, so you have to climb a narrow staircase to enter the restaurant. The restaurant is very well decorated and full of splendor, a real eye-catcher in a city like Raghunathganj. But thats it - everything after that is mediocre or inferior. First of all the restaurant is on 1st floor which is completely unreasonable and beyond the reach of elderly people. A very beautiful and awesome place for family and friends.. Fabulous ambience and awesome interior. The awadhi Biryani is really tasteful.. Other foods are also tastes awesome.. Staffs are very polite and professional.. Loved this place.. I personally suggest everyone to go once. They serve the best biryani, kebabs and firni. It's my favorite family restaurant 😍. This is the best Restaurant for Non Vegetarian food. Totally unique architecture and we'll behaved and trained staff. For foreigners it may be a good option if they are visiting this area, but the area is in so much posh place that it takes away the beauty and attention off the restaurant.
