Triptir Bhaja Bhoj — Restaurant in West Bengal

It was our first time at this restaurant. My wife and me just wanted to have a quiet and casual lunch. We ordered soup, fried rice and dry chilli chicken. So, my present feedback is based on this one time experience. Ambience is overall nice. We were the only people at the restaurant at the time. Cutlery, presentation and aesthetic sense is nice. Quantity is good. Price is competitive and around the same range as most of the other good restaurants in the area. Quantity of chicken in soup, friend rice was sufficient. Raw materials used were of good quality. For instance, the rice used in friend rice was of good quality. Food taste is very average. Friend rice was like steamed rice without any taste, the aroma of the rice itself made whatever difference was there. Even the salt was less. Soup also lacked taste, but high on ginger. The dry chilli chicken was sweet despite of my instructions of making it spicy. There was this lady whose phone was constantly playing one liner Bollywood music at peak volume. The entire idea of a married couple with all their responsibilities, sneaking out for spending some quiet and personal time over lunch was totally impossible. The sound was enough to give me a headache and nausea. There was this other guy who just took the order, brought it to our table and was not even available or interested when I requested for an additional tissue. So, had to do without it. First of all, it is a cafe type, but the dining area inside is very less space, it is better to go for dinner except Sunday, This is said by our cafe because they are very busy on Sunday with online order.I won't say the taste of the food is great but not bad, if you can, it's better to order Chinese food test, it's better if you don't go for Roti or Rice, it will delay them to reday and order table will be late(not chinese), that's all I'll say, the new start up has started. It will slowly get better hopefully, the behavior of the staff in the cafe is good.

I ordered chicken noodles from zomato..the noodles was really bad... didn't even eat a single bite... the chicken was not cooked properly... and the taste was worst.. just waste of money... don't lie to people that you're providing chicken noodles at the cheapest price..we can't call it chicken noodles.. I was a regular customer of triptir bhaja bhoj now never think to go there or order from the restaurant.. really unexpected it was.. and also the smell was so bad I think it was yesterday's left over noodles.. don't do this with people..you are not providing us free food ,we are...
