AC Tech Food Court — Restaurant in Zone 13 Adyar

They have just 1 spot billing counter for various seperate stalls like bakery, food, tea, juices etc. . So the queue becomes lengthy. Instead if each stalls can give bills in there own place it would be easier. Because of this long queue, students who can't afford to miss classes are going back to class hungry 😣. Also the billing person is not giving back proper change. Everytime they give 1 or 2 rupees less. sometimes they say u gave less money (despite the student gave exact change of 32 rupees the billing person said you gave 22 rupees only) and cheat students. Students have no time to argue as they already wasted more than 15 mins in billing queue itself next they have to wait in food delivery queue. The billing person purposefully slows down giving away the bills and wasting students time. Cheating students in giving change has become a regular side business with the billing counter person. When I gave 500 rupees for 105 Rupees bill, they asked 5 more rupees and I gave them. But while returning change he gave 300 rupees only. If we are in hurry, they are making use of it. First, buyer beware. This canteen receives government subsidy and has no incentive to better itself from customer feedback.

This canteen doesn't have price list displayed. Photos of Leo Fortune and other name brand stores are from the FOOD COURT and not the canteen.

Queues here are unnecessarily long because people enquire price of each item and then haggle for change . There is no facility to pay by UPI. Bills are rounded off upwards to the nearest rupee.

Inspite of the unaccounted profits from all these round offs this canteen won't display it's prices even on simple chalkboard/whiteboard even after repeated requests.
