Bamboo Beach Bar & Restaurant — Restaurant in Bali

This place is a must when visiting medewi. The family that owns the restaurant are incredibly hospitable and friendly. So welcoming when I visited with my brother for a surf trip. The restaurant is right on the beach with a clear view of the sunset and the surf. Every evening over sunset the locals come down to play volley ball which is fantastic to watch. It has a real local friendly atmosphere!

Food is fantastic, so reasonably priced and with a full fridge of Bintang you can not go wrong. Great menu, however they also offer lobster if you order the day before. They really can put on a spread.

After helping us with scooter and board rental, we also had a family member transport us to our next location for a good price! Great Place! We will...

Our experience was great!! The perfect setting for an afternoon beer & dinner. Nea the owner is absolutely beautiful. She offered my partner to use the “body board” she had as she saw him body surfing in the majestic waves right in front of where bamboo is located. It was just beautiful. The food was AMAZING!!! Big portions to for good prices. We loved it so much we went back the next night for dinner. The fried potato wedges were a treat, also some fun games to play while you relax and watch the sunset !!!! Highly recommend. Second back to this beautiful place but first time eating the seafood BBQ. It is amazing. Pre-order the day before what you want and they catch it fresh. We turned up for lunch today to a bucket of live lobster and fresh caught fish being prepared for BBQ.

The traditional Balinese marinades, salads and Sambal all came together for an awesome spread of food. Even the kids enjoyed it and the non-spicy kid friendly sauces were perfect.

Just can’t rate the friendly atmosphere, beautiful ocean view and top shelf food highly enough.
