Lukisan Coffee — Restaurant in Bali

We visited Gianyar to get klepon, but we need to wait for couple of hours to get it served. So we went into nearby cafe and found this gem.

If you bring a car, please expect to park in parallel. Sometimes you need to park 50 - 100 meters away from the cafe.

They have spacious area with superb atmosphere. Rustic and bohemian. Music was also nice. They played top charts songs that made us sing along. Such a shame we’re not coming here when there’s no live music being jammed. I think it’ll be awesome.

The waitress was kind and worked very quickly. We ordered a lot of menus and they served in minutes. Please also expect they will ask for your permission to take a picture and post it in Instagram story. Now if you check their Instagram story, you’ll see bunch of visitors pictures.

Foods and drinks were also great. The coffee was nice, only small problem was the art isn’t that nice. But who cares? Still tasted lovely. The cafe latte was a bit too hot, but that’s okay. It’s sweet and less acidic. Probably the best I had so far in Gianyar area.

Totally worth every single penny. Will come back later if we visit Gianyar again.

Update: Very disappointed today. There’s latte art competition but the speaker is so frickin loud. I asked the employee to lower the volume, but she said she can’t because it’s for the event. We don’t care about the event, we already sit at the front side while the event held at backyard. Why the MC sounds should be heard to front? I won’t be back at this place again; even if...

Pros: Nice outdoor area where you can work peacefully (supposed to be) Atmosphere is authentique Good portions

Cons: SUPER NOISY STAFF FROM THE KITCHEN. Not respectfull speaking super outloud like no customer is in the area. Playing on the bucket like a drum? Like c’mon? Sitting here for few hours - I guess I knew their most of life story LOL. One of them doesn’t like Lawar🫡 One of them is expecting a baby? ( Congrats!)❤️ I am sitting here listening to their noisy tiktok and probably youtube/facebook reels :’) Please whoever Manager in-charge. Look at this point and I AM SURE you will get more and more cutomer to stay at back of your shop. I came here to enjoy this beautiful vibes and listen to your great playlist and NOT listening to your staff yapping the wholeee experience of mine here.

Went here for a quick coffee before going to nearby waterfalls. Lukisan Coffee has a quite tasteful bean for the coffee, I personally like the taste. They might improve on the sugar serving, using a simple syrup would be better. Croissant also could be improved.

Place is very spacious, they have backyard space and indoor with AC. Might serve up to 20 people here. WiFi is available, but poor signal at the backyard space.

Staff and service were polite and helpful, they offer you their best recommendation.

Price is reasonable, IDR 60k/2 pax. QRIS and card payment are available.

Parking space is...
