Note to the OWNER, if you read this, skip to read the last paragraph.
I live locally and have been coming to Warung Souvlaki (now Milo's in this brand new and spacious location.) My favourites are Kolokithokeftedes (Zucchini balls), their Skordalia with pitta bread, and fried calamari. Every once in a while I would order Mixed Grill and Kebab or one of their platters plate. The food is always good and very consistent in quality, size, and taste. I have never once left feeling unsatisfied. What's more is the prices are very reasonable. Their previous place was small with little to no parking but I would still scoot there. Me and my partner are huge fans.
I would also like add an important NOTE TO THE OWNER. I hope you read this. One of the reasons I keep coming back is also because of your restaurant staff. Their service is one of the best and most genuine I have ever experienced in Bali. They know the art of "being invisible but still present" to cater the customers. Even at the craziest busiest dinner time when in old location before Covid they are calm and still managed to deliver the best service. I really hope you are aware that you have Star Team working for you in this restaurant. And I really hope that they are WELL compensated (salary and bonus). I rarely do reviews commenting about the staff but this one is...
Read moreWe ate there last night and found this restaurant not up to the ratings by other people. We arrived around 7 pm and we're shown to our table ordered drinks one coke and 3 bintangs and then decided what we wanted to eat and ordered. We requested that all meals served at the same time which we were told no problem. About 10 minutes later were advised that one of the dishes could be done because they ran out of mashed potatoes and could have french fries or wedges ok so went with fries then one meal comes out so we wait awhile for the other 3 to be served together.Well that never happened as two other meals came out 5 minutes a part and we had to ask there the 4th meal was only to wait another 10 minutes by then it was around 8 pm and asked to order another 3 bintangs only to be told that they were out of bintangs so we asked for a different beer only to be told they have no beer at all PLEASE 8pm by the way the food wasn't that good as well. Wouldn't recommend this...
