Stayed for a few weeks. What started as a great experience ended up in a disaster.||||1. Maintenance and cleaning||The place is falling apart. Moldy walls doesn't seem to have seen paint since the time of building. Opening a crane wets the ceiling. Using the shower usually floods the whole bathroom. That's actually a good thing because the bathroom wasn't cleaned for our whole stay. Or before. There was years of dust and rubbish in every corner of the room.||Most room doorhandles looked as if a truck ran over them. ||||2. Facilities||The internet was barely working over the whole time of our stay. We've been moved to another room because the aircon wasn't working. The aircon in the 2nd room was also not working. Getting hot water is a hit and miss, but mostly a miss. Calbe TV showed black screen warning the cable bills weren't paid. ||||3. Staff||Frontoffice staff are very polite but very poor managed and totally in the blind of what's happening. They pull the typical hide and protect card; nobody is responsible, they'll contact their manger which will contact the owner.||||4. Noise||The building design results in every sound made getting amplified over the whole property. You would imagine the staff anticipates on this to make the guest's stay an enjoyable one. Sadly this was not the case.||||During the day it was mostly the housekeeping staff that were shouting in the corridors and slamming doors.||||In the late evening (10pm-01am) there were people eating and getting drunk in front of the pool, playing music and shouting. We counted 15 people, most of them weren't in house guests. They seemed to have a good time, not exactly the case for the other guests. When asking them to be more quite they started cursing and told me to go back to my room.||||When we couldn't bare the noise anymore we went to the front office to find the security. ||Security just smiled and kept on smoking while watching youtube on his handphone. An hour later we came back to complain again, just to find him sleeping on the couch.||||Clubs in Bali close at 3-4pm. Again be prepared for guests doing afterparty in the pool and shouting in the corridors. Everybody wakes up except the security.||||Then at 7am family time begins. The tiny fridges in the larger rooms freeze everything no matter how low the setting, so it's either no ice and ice cream or no food (what limited you can fit in to them anyway!)||Stayed for 7 weeks in total as I was traveling around and just needed a base to store things... Firstly on a monthly rate which is quite a good rate but having to go to cafes etc to use wifi every day just means you end up paying as much on coffee and food daily as you would if you paid to stay somewhere better.||Changed to a weekly rate as I had secured a better villa available later in the month and three weeks later when it was time to check out they told me I needed to pay for 3 extra nights!!! When I asked why they informed me that a 'weekly' rate is 6 nights & 7 days... Not 7 nights!!! After management refusing to attend to speak to me about this ludicrous situation I was practically threatened for me and my belongings to be kicked out by security so I packed and left, having to find a few extra nights accommodation and pay for it before I could move to my new villa. ||The staff are very friendly and they are only doing their job so I do not blame them but the owners & management must not give a damn because they will not attend to any issues, nor will they even have the decency to show up and discuss with you.||I would not recommend this place to anyone! If you're looking for something in a similar location and price range there is an excellent hotel 2 mins away called 7 Bidadari Boutique. It has a shared kitchen and you have to negotiate a weekly/monthly rate case by case but the staff have great communication skills and the wifi is the best I've ever experienced in Bali...
Read moreI read good reviews on this place and I was disappointed to see what we got. On the surface it is good but in a few months it is sure to be worse because they aren't keeping it up. I am on my third residence style accommodation and this was the worst by far. There was one manager who was helpful and one who didn't speak English well and just smiled and gave bad information. We stayed in two rooms the first was so so but the bathroom was moldy and they didn't even provide soap to wash your hands. Also upon checking in there was a strong cleaner smell. The second room the manager said oh it's dirty when we moved up there and the handle was falling off the door. He didn't say sorry we can fix that he just said oh. And it wasn't recleaned. ||||There were families and singles staying there. One night people were up in the pool partying until 4:00. They didn't say sorry or we have talked to them they said well no one works at night except security and they might have been drunk. That was it. I was not the only one with kids or upset. ||||The one good part is the pool it is beautiful but the grounds around it are gross and they don't clean up well or fast. ||||No help or information is given about the area when you check in. I would say don't stay here there are cheaper and better...
