Our driver suggested this place and we fell into it as my wife needed to rest and settle her tummy after driving up trough the mountains of Lovina.
THIS IS AN ABSOLUTE TURIST TRAP!
The buffet basically consists of Nasi and Mie Goreng and a few other things. The worst Goreng we had in Bali in 30 days with basically nothing in it...fried eggs were not even on display and we had to ask for one so that my daughter could get some protein into her. When asking for it, the owner claimed the egg was already mixed in the fried rice but was nowhere to be seen, as invisible where other ingredients as well - just a few veggies and spices.
My daughter didn't eat because she didn't like the taste of the rice at all nor she ate anything else; which is quiet unusual for anyone eating anything fried.
The cost? a whopping 156K rupees per person - drinks not included - for the all you can eat buffet. All other items were not of a great quality neither and all presented in a very non inviting manner.
When the owner noticed that my daughter didn't eat, he offered to prepare another "non spicy" rice but at that point we were no longer interested in any of that and only wanted to go. He charged us our children rate anyway (which was a half price rate per child).
I wonder what it takes to charge such a HIGH PRICE for such POOR quality food. If at least the food was of a good quality, there would be nothing to complain about. But I don't think this restaurant ever cared about the quality of their food.
Overall a VERY SAD experience from a food and human point of view, in especially knowing that it is all a set-up with the complicity of the many accomplice drivers.
All wrapped up with a smile!
(I'm giving it a star because it's compulsory to rate the place, but if it were for me, this place would do better not to exist).
P.S. a note for the driver, unfortunately for him he lost his 50K rupees tip I usually pay our drivers for...

The Bali rice terraces are part of people’s heritage and offer outstanding landscapes and are among the must-sees for visits to the island. The centuries-old traditional irrigation cooperative called subak lives on through such artistry in nature.
Jatiluwih is one of Bali’s best rice terraces and is recognised by UNESCO in its world cultural landscapes list. Jatiluwih is the largest and most picturesque of all of the rice terraces in Bali. Tegallalang is a smaller valley than Jatiluwih, but it's more popular and more accessible. Others include the Munduk rice fields in North Bali, Sideman and Rendang in East Bali...
Read moreTwo stars for the view only. This is the worst kind of tourist trap. Brought here by our driver on the way back from Lovina, the kids were too hungry and we were too tired to argue, so opted to just stick with it rather than push on to somewhere else. There was no a la carte menu despite advertising one. The buffet was limited and tasteless. The worst part was paying - despite being a huge restaurant and obviously catering to tour groups, they don’t accept card payment. We’ve been in Bali for five months, even some of the tiniest warungs we’ve eaten in will accept a credit card. We were forced to make a trip to an ATM. If you have the choice, give this one...
