I am willing to give 5 stars and 100 points to this store. My friend and I had the best service, great food, and great conversation with Roby.
You might think it's unfortunate that the power went out in the whole area right after we ordered, but I have to say we had some of the best and unique memories here. The power outage didn't affect their service and food, and the staff brought us candles, which instantly turned the environment into a candlelight dinner! Instead of being depressed by the accident, everyone was optimistic and sang happy birthday to the candles~
Roby keeps feeling sorry for the outage, but it's totally unnecessary. He gave us extra dumplings and herbal tea, and offered to treat us to the meal. But we know it's not his fault and he doesn't need to feel sorry for us. In the end, we paid and he gave an extra 30% off. It is unimaginable that each person is 70k, or even less than 6 euros, which is unimaginable in Europe.
About the food, my favorite is the spicy fried beef and seafood soft tofu soup. The beef is wrapped in lettuce and will not make people feel greasy at all. Friends enjoyed the dumplings and herbal tea, which surprised us all.
Finally, Roby is also a K-pop lover, we shared our favorite songs and singers. Compared with the relationship between the boss and the guests, we are more like friends who have not seen each other for a long time. This is one of the happiest shops I feel in Bali, thank you~ I will definitely...
Read moreWe had a wonderful dinner & birthday celebration this weekend at Noona Jib - stand out service, quality, and care by terrific host Roby. He was so accommodating and responsive in our communication prior to our group dinner, and then went out of his way to ensure all our guests had a memorable and delicious dining experience (and left with very full stomachs!). I can't say enough about his warm and welcoming personality, as well as his passion for and willingness to share his knowledge about the food culture (they are serving Korean BBQ in the Busan style versus the Seoul style that maybe some lovers of Korean food are more familiar with). The food itself all hit the mark - from his special off menu spring rolls he prepared for us, to the array of fresh and crunch banchan (the kimchi was terrific), to the quality meat served to grill at the table (he also was very willing to man the table grill for us as we were all chatting / hanging). They also offer the OG soju flavor which Roby served us with flourish. Overall, great value for quality and quantity. A restaurant where you can feel and see the care and intention of the owner is always worth commending and recommending. We are happy to have this spot in our neighborhood and will be back again...
Read moreFirst of all, I am Korean. As a Korean myself I have high standards for Korean food and I often get disappointed by Korean restaurants on holiday destinations BUT! I am so glad my husband found this cute little place that actually serves GREAT AUTHENTIC Korean food! We’ve already been twice in a week and will go again very soon. The owner Robby has amazing knowledge of Korean cuisine that even for Korean people most of young generations probably don’t know of. I was so impressed with his love for Korean food it shows on his food! The basic Banchan (side dishes) which they generously give for free ( we live in London, where you order small portion of kimchi can coast £8+) Absolutely delicious and super authentic!
We have pork belly and marinated pork shoulder. And some kimchi jjigea, also I love the fact they have Korean steamed egg(gyeran jjim) and fried egg roll(gyeranmari) and instant noodles (he even asked me if I prefer Shin or Jin ) that’s like only Korean people would know!! If you fancy delicious homemade style Korean restaurant! Please go noona jip ( it means ‘my sister’s home) by the way, very annoying that I could not upload videos…. Please don’t judge by photo!...
