Don’t let the facade fool you. This understated place serves up some amazing grilled Chicken you can technically only find in Lombok. Luckily they serve it right here in Bali and it is quite the experience. The last time we went, the place was so jam packed that we had to wait 20 minutes for a table and it was well worth the wait. The staff even brought us a table out front, but the smoke kept blowing at us so we just opted for sitting inside. They serve up whole chicken (head and heart included which only costs about 75k per chicken. You can request it to be spicy and non spicy. For additional items, you can add rice for 5k and veggies for another 5k. The chicken comes out with a super crispy skin and tender meat. Generally people order a chicken to share, but my group of friends went in and ordered 4 chickens! One for each of us! It was so fun and we enjoyed our meal. Many people do take away, but I believe it’s best fresh off the grill. This authentic experience is not to be missed! They do offer smaller chickens I heard, but they ran out! Be prepared to wait.

Disaat perut lapar, disaat ingin pedas manis, disaat ingin sayura yang segar, dan setelah melakukan perjalanan yang cukup jauh, jawaban yang pas: Ayam bakar taliwang Gianyar. Memang Ayam taliwang dari taliwang lombok, tapi rasa ayam taliwangnya serasa makan di lombok. Ayannya di bakar dengan sempurna, bumbunya meresap banget, pedas manis yang pas, apalagi ditambah dengan bumbu merahnya, jadi selera makan bertambah. Ndak berhenti disana saja, sayur urap nya juga mantab banget, bumbunya dan sayurnya seger banget, plus dengan nasi panas, serasa satu nasi aja ngak cukup. Jadi rumah makan ini sangat rekomended deh, walau suasana biasa biasa aja, tapi pingin balik lagi. Ada kamar mandi yg cukup bersih, dan cocok untuk bersama keluarga, pasangan dan harga cukup terjangkau pastinya.

Tapi ini memang khas lombok Porsi : ayam ukuran mini.. tulangnya lebih banyak dari ikannya.. Harga : menurut saya lumayan mahal.. tapi ini sudah punya nama, ya sudahlah. Parkir : tempat parkir luas, kurang tahu kalau mobil bagaimana.. karena pintu masuk kecil Secara keseluruhan tetap rekomended 👍👍. Karena dari awal saya datang di Bali sampai sekarang masih ada dan bahkan makin luas. Layak dicoba di era gempuran ayam fast food yang memang jauh lebih murah, porsi lebih banyak, dan rasa juga so so.

Amazing grilled chicken and an even more impressive sauce and sambal to accompany it. Be prepared to dig in with your bare hands. Kangkung Plecing is a must try to go side by side with your meal. Beberuk is raw eggplant sambal and definitely not for everyone. To those adventurous foodies or tourists that can handle their spices, this is a must try. The non spicy options such as honey grilled chicken and the original version will still have some bite...

I used to really like the grilled chicken at this restaurant up to last year but when I visited this place a few days ago the taste is not quite the same. The chicken is oily and it loose the nice flavor it once had. It's a pity, I won't recommend this place anymore. :( hopefully they'll improve their food quality. I'm not sure when I'll be...
