Kopi Florist is one of the best and most recommended coffee shop in Bandung.

This coffee shop is owned and managed by a legendary coffee expert Yadi Mulyadi or more familiarly called "Don Yadi".

The story of Kopi Florist cannot be separated from the story of Don Yadi who dedicated his life as an agronomist, farmer, and coffee and flower trader. As a coffee farmer, he is said to own, manage, and collaborate a lot of coffee lands spread across Indonesia. As a coffee trader, he started his coffee trade from its upstream line by establishing Finca Don Yadi in 2008 which business is to produce high-quality Indonesian coffee beans to various countries abroad and in 2012 he also supplied it to various regions in his country after seeing domestic demand began to rise. Thanks to Finca Don Yadi success that he was then able to expand his coffee trade to its downstream line by opening Kopi Florist Bandung in 2017.

Kopi Florist is, as it can be easily known by its name, a simple coffee shop but has an uniqueness that other coffee shops can not match for. Bet this coffee shop is the one and only coffee shop in Bandung or even in Indonesia that built in the middle of public flower garden. Besides, Kopi Florist is designed to be a place for anyone who wants to learn everything about coffee, of how to produce high-quality coffee from planting and harvesting, post-harvest processing, roasting, to grinding and brewing. This proven by this coffee shop efforts in holding as well as supporting coffee-related events such as discussions, consultations, workshops, competitions, etc which involving various coffee business stakeholders including coffee farmers, processors, and lovers.

Although Don Yadi has passed away, his spirit remains to be the soul of Kopi Florist, making it valuable legacy to be continued by the next generation of Indonesian coffee experts.

It's been quite a long time ago I heard this cafe but never had a chance to visit until last Saturday (12/08/2017). Quite a challenge to find ot as it is located right INside the flower market. The cafe is unique as I neverr find this kind before -- it's like in the jungle as you will be surrounded by plants of various kind. Tje coffee is good. As usual I ordered black coffee...
