SHSD Sambel Hejo Sambel Dadak Mekar Wangi — Restaurant in Bandung City

Such a lovely sundanese restaurant! It's been a while since we visited SHSD and do dine in as usually we only make gofood or grabfood order here, but boy was I blewn away. So we started parking our car right in front of the shop as it'a around 11 am, then we were greeted by the staffs and then proceed us to our seat. The ambience is very much similar with the one in Purwakarta with this vintage touch on the interior. We then ordered ayam goreng, cimplung, tumis kangkung, and their sambal dadak. It's a very simple yet heartwarming food which warms reminds us on how good sundanese food can be. They also provide tea in a pot (complimentary!) And what surprises me the most is they even provide 2 sockets for each table next to the wall which very convenient for current necessities. For health protocol, they provided a wastafel in front part of the shop and they put a very lovely floral scent for their soap, these small details really grab my attention. In general, it's a lovely experience visiting this place, we're so inviting our family to have a lunch/dinner here....

Bukber disini ga rekomended ..sudah Reservasi tapi banyak minusnya ..kita 20 orang lebih dapet tempat nya sempit.. duduk dempetan aja ga cukup ..minta pindah tempat ga ada karena memang sudah penuh .. 1 ruang di isi lebih dari 40 orang dg 1 kipas aja dan cukup penuh sesak ya .. pengap...harus nya lebih di pertimbangkan lagi jangan cuma memikirkan ke untung..tapi kepuasan dan kenyamanan pelanggan jg di perhatikan..apalagi ini posisi bulan puasa ..ekspetasi pengen makan nikmat tapi malah badmood .. minta teh anget aja lama bgt ngasihnya ..baru dikasih setelah beres makan ..untuk rasa makanannya jg kurang nikmat ..dari segi judul sambel hejo sambel dadak ,tapi sambelnya ga berkesan apa apa ..ga ada nikmat2nya ..ga pedes hambar gitu aja ..gurame bakar nya jg hambar kurang enak ..dan paling parah dapet ayam bakar ga ada dagingnya ..lebih baik harga nya naiknya deg tapi kasih ayam yg ada daging nya ...bukan cuma tulang .. ini yg bikin kecewa bgt .. buat yg mau bukber dg jumlah orang banyak...

Sundanesse Restaurant. The restaurant decoration is quite unique, they are trying to be vintage. The wall full of old advertising plates. I guess it is the owner hobby. Best food: nasi liweut and sambal. The hygiene is a little bit questionable, they put the 'new' cup upside down direct on the table without plate or...
