Thai Palace Restaurant — Restaurant in Bandung City

I was here today having a dinner along with my coworkers. The taste of the dishes were not as good as the original Thai's. I ordered Pad Thai, I expected the taste of the rice noodle should be a lil bit sour, but the fact it tasted like chinese rice noodle with a lot of sweet soy sauce. The taste of som tam was okay. Durian sticky rice was also okay. The service of this resto was pretty bad, though it was not yet 9 PM, but the waiter asked me to proceed the payment first, so overall this resto has to fix...

Paskal Branch: 2 stars for the service because the waiters were nice. The waiters gave me a tea-spoon of extra kailan leaves, which was returned to the display rack by the (supposedly) lady owner. Yes, you read it correctly: the lady re-claimed one tea-spoon amount of KAILAN leaves from my food plate 😂 lol if the waiters were not nice enough to us then I'd definitively rate only 1 star for the service. I visited this place with 4 women and all of whom have pledged to never come to this...

After 5 years i came back again to this place. The food still the same, same freshness, same taste. It's really nostalgic eating in this place again. If you're favorite food tom yum goong, you should come to this place. One of the best thai restaurant in bandung. The price it's quite affordable. And the food portion can be shared. Even the fried rice can be shared for two person.
