Alara Coffee & Space — Restaurant in Batam City

Overpriced, I sit in the cafe and the AC is dropping water to my shirt and bag I told the waitress about it, and they just come and put towel in the chair where the AC dripping and goes back to counter. No apologies to me at all regarding the AC issue.

Why in counter not even 1 physical menu available?, in counter i need to scan QR to go to a google drive folder and open the pdf to see the menu, i understand if QR menu available on table, but if i went to counter and you told me to scan QR just to see the menu, i felt the cafe trying to be modern aesthetic without looking at practicality. What if my battery dead?, Are you gonna offer your phone? Then what is the difference?

The food not bad (but not that awesome either), and the staff service is not great while the food prep is very slow

And please don't offer to clean up table if i only finished my meal like 15 minutes ago, it felt like you are chasing...

Kecewa banget, bukan baru 1 x kesana, mungkin sudah 2 atau 3 tahun ngopi dan kadang makan disana, tetapi sangat tidak bersahabat, Gara2 saya baru habis makan siang di tempat lain, ada sisa minuman air mineral saya yg hanya tinggal separuh kurang, jadinya saya bawa turun, karena di mobil panas, jd saya milih bawa turun, dan setelah di dalam, saya langsung pesan kopi saya dan air mineral sisa saya di meja, dan setelah itu pesanan kopi saya datang, dan saya tanya berapa bill saya, dan saya biasanya bayar duluan, malah di bilang pak air minum nya gak boleh di bawa, mesti di simpan titip ke dia, saya bilang tinggal dikit saja, dia bilang tetap gak bisa, ya saya kesal dan kecewa, saya seolah2 di haruskan buang air mineral saya, saya bilang, saya milih batalin kopi nya dan langsung keluar dari cafe nya. Sangat2 tdk etis, kalau kita datang bawa minuman, dan tidak pesan makanan, itu kita juga tahu diri, ini hanya sisa air mineral, dan kita langsung pesan minum kopinya, juga gak boleh, apa lagi kadang ada yg suka bawa botol minum pribadi nya, jangan coba2, lebih baik ke tempat lain saja, saya sudah bertahun ngopi di situ, dan akhirnya sudah putusin gak pernah kembali ke situ, atau rekomendasi orang ke sana, saya tulis sesuai fakta, dan bisa lihat, rivew saya level 8....

Overall, the cafe has 4 floors and suitable for working or hanging out with friend (if you are lucky, you can play with the cat) Unfortunately the kitchen still under renovation and customers are not allowed to order food outside the cafe :(

The price range considered a bit expensive (pastry and coffee) but overall its a good space for working.
