Fortunate Taste Vegetarian Restaurant (Obean) — Restaurant in Batam City

STAFFS WERE RUDE AS HELL. NOT FAMILY FRIENDLY.

Came to the restaurant with a one year old who is on special baby diet due to allergies. Staff had the audacity to ask the INGREDIENTS of the food in the baby food. Had to explain that the toddler cannot eat restaurant food. Staff insisted that no outside food can be brought in.

Shame for such a nice restaurant and ambient. Wished they are more family friendly.

Definitely not coming back. Highly disappointed.

To the management, I suggest you train your staff well.

And by the way, TAKING PHOTOS OF KIDS GOES AGAINST PRIVACY LAWS. Please tell your staff that taking photos of KIDS especially customers without permission should...

I REALLY love this place! I’ve been traveling throughout Asia for the last seven months and not only is this the best vegetarian restaurant I encountered, it’s one of my favorite restaurants ever. The food is delicious, the portions are generous, the price is affordable, and the care put into the restaurant is apparent. I should also give my appreciation to the very thoughtfully designed menu with really beautiful photos of each dish tastefully arranged on each page. Good food, far better from the old brand (obean). I don't know if this restaurant with the previous one is owned by the same person or not.

The food is good, but isn't one of the best in Batam (in term of vegetarian restaurant), its 4/5 from me. The service is good ( 5/5 ). The place decoration is 5/5 too.
