Kayu Merah — Restaurant in Batam City

The place is honestly really difficult to find, and when its rain, the road to go to this place super difficult and traffic. Already feel stresful just to reach the destination.

But lucky the service is quite good, the serving is really nice to us, they help to explain the foods.

The foods is quite cold, but still nice

All small portions but quite a lot, so only eat a little bit already feel really full. Maybe because indonesian food mostly we use coconut milk so just taste a litte bit already feel too much.

But the place is pretty and quite, really nice to hang out and chat...

On the day of my visit both Google Maps and Gojek suggested incorrect navigation routes. After asking some locals we found out it was actually possible to pass through the Panbil Nature Reserve park to reach the restaurant. The most direct route was to turn in from the main road at (1) towards the park, (2) enter the Eco Edu Park and continue onwards.
