Kedai Soto Ibu Rahayu — Restaurant in Bogor

As the name suggest, this restaurant mainly focuses on exclusively serving soups with a few other side dishes. The soup selection is variated enough, ranging from traditional local Soto Bogor to Soto Wagyu - regular beef soto where the meat it substituted with Wagyu beef. Taste-wise, it is very tasty and depending on the soup selection, also refreshing.

Service is pretty speedy, since the menu selection is not too extensive, and the soup gets served without too much of a wait. One would most likely view the restaurant as a place for a quick fill-up, the seats and open air ambiance does not complement for a relaxed enjoyment of the restaurant. Since it is not air-conditioned, smoking is allowed within the restaurant.

In this package you gonna get Soto Betawi (I request to use only meat for the Soto 🥰) with pretty plenty meat inside rich and savory coconut milk broth, a portion of steamed white rice and your choice of drink (Iced Lemon Tea / Iced Orange Coconut / Iced Orange Juice / Iced Coconut / Iced Lychee Tea), I decided to go with Iced Orange Juice. This is maybe one of the best soto place in Bogor, famous and crowded... Reasonable price with such quality... I tried the Betawi soto with rice... Soup, condiments, lungs, meat, potatoes,tomatoes,fried onion,melinjo crackers are mixed well... My friend tried the gudeg complete package and he also said that this is superb from the rice,the gudeg,the chicken thigh,egg,tofu,krechek... The ice tea is standard...
