Alfredo Casual Kitchen — Restaurant in Central Java

It is a nice place to hang out, to eat Western Food in Purwokerto. The varieties of menu is quite fast. And you can tell they're quite serious about their food. The taste is on point, the plating are beautiful, the service is nice and the ambience itself is quite modern. Like restaurants in big cities.

I tried their sirloin, it's s scrumptious. Their Dori Sambal Matah is phenomenal. I love how flakey and fresh their Dori was. The Sambal is quite spicey and nice. The pastas are quite authentic. Tried the double decker burger . Portion quite large. The burger patty is juicy and those cheese are so good !

I appreciate they provide healthy food. Their rosemary chicken and salad is refreshing. Seasoning is perfect. Their healthy bowl is delicious. Good ambience and interior, quite instagramable for Purwokerto standard. The service was quick and efficient. The taste of the food, however, tends to be on the sweeter side. I ordered french onion soup to find only sweetness overwhelming the whole dishes, even the parmesan did not help to cut it down. The hamburg steak was nicely portioned, good plating, and cooked well done to my liking. On the other hand the sauce, again, was too sweet for an authentic European cuisine. I suppose the food have been adjusted to suit Javanese palate. I had to ask for salt and pepper (one thing that I normally did not do in a well established restaurant) and they were coming in a nice little ramekins instead of salt & pepper shaker. Went to Alfredo's Casual Kitchen, and I have to say—it was the best burger I’ve had in Indonesia. And that’s coming from someone who’s from a serious burger-eating country! The Black Pepper Sauce Burger had outstanding flavour, and for once, the description actually matched the product.

The drinks were flavourful and refreshing, a great match with the meal.
