Peridot Coffee & Eatery — Restaurant in Central Java

So we ordered Hawaiian pizza, shrimp and beef creamy pasta, and mixed platter. The atmosphere was good, but when the foods came, it turned out to be disappointment. The pizza was tasty, no debate. The funny thing is the mixed platter. We ordered it because it consists MIX fried snacks (sausages, french fries, some kind of chicken nuggets, and onion rings). We were craving that onion rings, but we didn't want to have a lot of it so we mixed it. When it came, it's minus onion rings without the waiter told us before. They just said "that's why we gave more french fries" 😅 and it didn't look like having more french fries. They replaced the onion rings with just a couple sticks of french fries. We paid 30k for that bunch of fries. The creamy pasta, it should be "shrimp and beef", but it only had 2pcs of little shrimps, and a few slices of smoked beef, 35k. We ate at a big restaurant in Jogja, we paid 30k for a pasta but it had so many fillings, especially the shrimp. We came there after we watched it was advertised by culinary vlogger. At least we know we don't need to go...

Cozy place, wifi avaliable, and what amazed me so far is, they are using recycled teak wood for their interior, which from my opinion showing their concern about nature wood supply and demand, they used every piece of the wood even the small cut waste, they glued again into larger plank for top tables, stairs and chair base ( recreating and increasing wood value). The foods and beverages are delicious and the price very reasonable (for me its cheaper than others cafe in Jogja where I come from). You should try their crunchy pizza, soft and moise chicken cordon blue, deliciosooooooo Recomended place and worth to visit...

Staff really fabulous. The space feels like it hasnt settled in , like newly constructed... The creamy chicken is ok ...ish... the Tahu Goreng Salted Egg nice though... Everything really is prepackaged catering fare. Containers of Soup Powder , spooned out and heqted up in water.. probably PAM ... Don't think anything really is freshly made on the premesis. But.. thats what people want and thats what they pay for. The cappuccino was a Tora Bika Sachet. Not from an espresso machine. For 22K I felt that was a bit cheeky. Avoid the pizza.🫤 Anyone who enjoys this "pizza" has never...
