This restaurant is better known by locals as "Soto Jalan Bank". I was one of the guests from Jakarta who was entertained by a local host at this place, and it was very appropriate as a restaurant to treat friends or guests from afar. Soto is one of the favorite types of soupy dishes in all parts of Indonesia and each region has its own characteristics or uniqueness. Both from the type of sauce, the variety of contents and the concoction of spices. This Soto Jalan Bank in Purwokerto also has its own unique taste: 1) the soto sauce, in addition to containing chicken broth, is also mixed with ground peanut sauce to create a unique taste; 2) the meat used is native chicken which has been chopped finely; 3) in the soto soup also added crushed crackers typical of Purwokerto which gives a crispy taste at the beginning, but when it is soft, the sauce mixes into it like noodles; 4) provided with peanut sauce which will further strengthen the taste of the gravy.
This is one of the unique "soto" that is amazing for me. Enjoying this dish at a fairly affordable price, the place is quite spacious, the location in the middle of the city is easy to get to, making Soto Jalan Bank worthy of five stars. Thanks...
