I wish I had seen the google review before ordering. Regardless if it’s the gojek driver that’s leaving a review it’s still a review. I’ve been waiting for my order (I’m a customer, will also leave a review on gojek once my food gets here) but it’s taken SO LONG to get my MIXED SALAD (uncooked food) and smoothie.. I’m a restaurant owner myself, so there shouldn’t be an excuse that it takes this long to prep a salad or smoothie. It’s been 50 minutes and I’m still waiting.. I feel sympathy towards all the gojek drivers that have ever had to wait … for the amount of money they get paid for…. If my restaurant is known to take longer than usual and only serving food online I would’ve atleast given something back to the drivers that waits for the order. And based on your responses to the reviews that the drivers made, I don’t think you guys care at all.. Also ISTG if you say anything like “oh competitors “ no dude, just trying to support another business here by ordering. Thought you...
Read moreI am sorry, but this is the most disappointed I have been in my 4 months in Bali. It said "gravy soupy" in the description but the gulasch is watered down and tasted BAD. I am not a picky eater. I am a keen Guinness drinker who has years and years of hearty stews under my ol' wings. I was looking forward to the home cooked meal as promised.
But what can you do when the person who is cooking clearly doesn't know what it should taste like?
Further more, the mashed potatoes has been done with a mixer into glue. The bread was not fresh. Dry on the outside, doughy in the middle and heated before delivery.
I am so sorry for those who never have eaten a real good Hungarian/Austrian Gulasch or fluffy mash. It doesn't matter how long you cook something if you don't know what to do with it.
Here is a tip. Cook every stew on the bone with 2 tsp of Apple Cider Vinegar if you are going for a 8-12 hour stew. At least it will be full of healthy collagen and make your customers...
Read moreWe don’t understand the negative reviews from some people.. Rachael and Mike’s Homemade Kitchen is a hidden jewel! We went there for dinner last night and at the beginning it was a bit difficult to find (doesn’t matter, cause they will move to Seminyak in 2 weeks anyway). The restaurant owners were so friendly and nice, we felt like friends or family members cooked for us! Everthing was homemade cooking. Fresh healthy salad, slow cooked Gulash (try the Guiness beer Gulash, it tastes like Christmas food, very delicious). We had also handmade potato fries which were one of the best I’ve tried in Asia! My girlfriend had the indian cuisine chicken tikka masala, which was not too spicy and also berry delicious. The portions were really large and we felt full until next midday :D! So thank you very much for the great dinner. 🙏🏼 It was so nice to hear about your life story too!
Best wishes Annina&Max...
