I come here often and have had the pleasure of discussing future menu items with the owners while they were in the planning and testing phases.
I finally got a chance to come for lunch and try the Grilled Cheese with Tomato Soup. It's a spectacular version of the American Classic with an Indonesian twist, and probably the best I've ever had outside of home-made!
The sandwich was large and the sourdough bread was grilled perfectly. It was perfect for eating... not too crunchy, no hard spots, and not soggy. Just perfect!
The tomato soup is where the Indonesian twist arrived. It woke up my taste buds with a slight spicyness that truly made it stand out from every other tomato soup I've ever had. Bravo! Keep up the great work...

The shop was clean and tasteful like a 5 star hotel coffee shop - I just chilled and enjoyed the AC, TWO lattes and an unbearably good grilled cheese sandwich! Staff were friendly and helpful as I asked about their various coffee beans/roasts.
When I realized that they roast their own beans (all Indonesia grown beans, I think, I bought four 250mg bags to take back to KL. The quiet ambiance, good natural lighting, good AC, and ergonomic tables and chairs make this cafe perfect for working remotely from. The only drawback on this place is the food.
