Goemerot Restaurant — Restaurant in Denpasar Selatan

I'm speechless

Food: Most dishes in their menu are Indonesian Food. We ordered 4 dishes such as Tahu Gejrot, Nasi Goreng Suna Cekuh Cumi, Vegetarian Lumpia, and Chicken Steak with Mashed Potato. If you're craving for salad, hamburger or Sandwich, they don't have any of it. They only serve salad with mayonnaise dressing. However, they do have several selection of international-inspired cuisine like Beef or Chicken Steak, Spaghetti, I think one Tom Yum dish, and Fish and Chips.

Drink: Didn't pay much attention to their drink menu. But I think they have wide array choices of coffee and tea (either hot or cold). We ordered 2 drinks (Iced Tea and Mango Juice)

Service: Nice but could've been better (considering 5% service charge is added to the final bill)

Ambiance: Nice, spacious, tables between customers are well-spaced. Large parking area that can accommodate more than 10 cars with paid parking assistance.

Additional info: Kids friendly with large kids indoor playground and they have high chair for infants. Many desserts and cakes options. Would be nice for afternoon tea.

Points for improvement: Food tasted mediocre compared to its price. Vegetarian Lumpia is 26K-ish for 2 pieces (before tax & service) and it was kinda meh. Mashed Potato was dry, neither creamy nor fluffy. Tahu Gejrot and Nasi Goreng Suna Cekuh were okay but nothing special. The Chicken Steak is small and thin but good and cooked almost perfectly although it's a bit dry for my taste. The salad that accompanied the steak was meh, the mushroom sauce could be better and smooth (it was too thick and lumpy) It felt hot inside but still comfortable Would be great if they can add more fish dish. I cancelled my order on Fish and Chips because they used Ikan Dori which when handled inattentively can taste unpleasant or like dirt. It would be good to use saltwater fish for your Fish and Chips The Mango Juice was sour. They can inform the guests that they only have unripe mangoes so that the guests can manage expectations. Please fix or replace the soap dispenser by the entrance. It didn't dispense the soap Baby chair should have seatbelt. The one assigned to our table didn't have seatbelt.

I went here after a short snack in denpasar / renon nearby; and I noticed that the place is always packed; they do have a parking lot however it’s really big; but luckily we walked around the neighbourhood. Well been here for a couple times; and so far the taste has never disappoint. The creamy and flavour of the gelato is definitely enjoyable with the pricing and amount that we get; i’m content with it. My favourites are the pistachio and rum over here, however other flavours are also nice. The classic chocolate was amazing. Not too sweet, and have a little bit bitter taste.

The place is still quite packed despite of pandemic; the place is huge as well as they have indoor dining and outdoor as well; in the location. They have playground, so 100% your kids will be happy and you can enjoy your food. I had the medium and large cups and three flavors for me and my partner which was more than enough.

You can also have a few samples before you pick the ice cream you want.

Enjoy your ice cream and also be safe during this time of pandemic.

For their food, it's so worth it. They have amazing taste. The prices still affordable. 1 portion of Nasi Goreng Hong long Rp. 39.000,- / portion with rich of seafood.

For services was not so bad. need to increase the value of hospitality and aegis. Because when I asked "what's different nasi goreng hongkong and nasi goreng seafood?" And the service can not answer.

And for suggestions, maybe when we finished our meal, the service should take all dirty plate in front of us. So it will be looks nice, clean and tidy.

Food is really good and so many Choices ! ✔️ and satisfying for the Price. It is similar to Gosha Restaurant the same part owner etc2 basically.

However, I usually order and go to Gosha. I would put 5 stars but Unfortunately tonight I saw a lot of big Mosquitos flies on the Ice Cream 🤢 (usually in Gosha restaurant I love to order the ice cream there and never seen a bug or insect there not once). There were so many flies bugs on some of the ice cream at Goemerot so I did not end up buying it for dessert.

Yes I did told the employees and showed them the flies and the guy finally cleaned it maybe whoever was in charge of giving ice cream should take better care of opening the ice cream fridge door so that the bugs do not get in it!

At first I thought it was decorations then I looked a closer look and there were plenty of them. Whoever opened that ice cream fridge door obviously opened it for too long and because many people come in to eat there at this Restaurant (so loud inside sometimes) but whoever did open it Manager should do rounds of Check Up and be more Detailed with Food Quality etc..

I am sorry I put a 4 star for now so that it can can Improve. You sell food for people to enjoy and go home without going to Hospital so please do something about the Management for Food Check Up & Cleanliness.
