PeTo Steakhouse — Restaurant in Denpasar Selatan

This is literally one of the best places I've been to. Not only in Sanur but, I think, in Bali overall. Absolutely everything I've ever ordered here was awesome.

They've got several perks I love.

No s​hi​ttу fees above the prices (you can just choose the "self service" option and write down your order into a special blank, it's great).

The menu. It's simply awesome. From the versatility of dishes to the way you can choose different types of sides, sauces and extras to your main course. Every dish's got a picture and a description in English. You always know what you order. And the menu design is just the best. Really. I haven't seen a more useful menu. It's just perfect and I hope they have no plans to change its design.

The serving. This is simply beautiful. Better than in most more expensive restos out there. They've got style in everything. Special glass cans for beverages, each steak appears on a hot skillet hissing just from the stove. And they even give you a repellent for your comfort.

The portions are really big. Fair prices for fair portions. You'll never leave the place starving. And as you can see in the pics, they always add lots of sides in addition to those you choose. I love it. Your meal is always sterling and you feel happy.

The beverages. You MUST try the papaya juice. It's incredibly tasty. And every other drink I've ordered was also great.

Atmosphere and personnel. The steakhouse is cozy and looks really nice. A lot of greens, wooden tables in country style, etc. And the staff is nice and smiley. They're always happy to see you and try doing everything for you to feel comfortable and satisfied.

They cook really fast. Are you hungry? They won't make you wait long.

A great place to have homemade steak in town, no debate! I came here quite late (around 9) and they still proceed with my order. I love how humble their hospitality and the explanation regarding the place, the menu, and the services they have. They even asked about what might be the weakness of their steaks (indeed they want to serves us the best!) Their menu book also has a very detailed explanation regarding how to order, and so on. And it was so cute and professional!

They have 3 different services, I chose the “self-service” one because quite curious about that haha, and turns out it was an extraordinary experience I could never forget, just like eating in your house? Love it!

I have no comment at all about the food and the place. But if you could in the future add new variants of the beverage and the snacks on the menu it would be so great I would just go for lunch or dinner or just snack time (haha).

I have to give it a 1, despite the fact that I liked the food. I waited for my order for 1.5 hours, at the same time people who came after me got their orders earlier, as well as people who were already sitting ordered more and more and also got their orders earlier.

Moreover, after an hour they brought me the wrong dish that I ordered. Then it turned out that it wasn't my order. I also ordered a beer, but no one brought it to me - I had to go myself.

With all that said, I chose the full service option at the very beginning and paid 10% extra for it.
