A Seafood Delight in Serangan
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Seafood Bu Rini, a seafood restaurant that left a lasting impression. The culinary experience was marked by the freshness and quality of the seafood dishes.
The menu at Seafood Bu Rini boasted an enticing array of seafood options, ranging from classic favorites to innovative creations. Each dish showcased the natural flavors of the ocean's bounty, leaving my taste buds thoroughly satisfied. From the succulent grilled shrimp to the flavorful fish tacos, every bite was a testament to the chef's skill and dedication to serving delicious seafood.
While the seafood dishes were undoubtedly the stars of the show, I would have appreciated a wider variety of side dishes and accompaniments to complement the main offerings. Nonetheless, the flavors and quality of the seafood itself were exceptional.
Overall, Seafood Bu Rini is a seafood restaurant that delivers a delightful culinary experience. If you're a seafood lover in search of fresh and flavorful dishes, this restaurant is definitely...

When we came, unfortunately the fish choices were quite limited as they only had kerapu (grouper), kudu-kudu (boxfish) and another fish which I have never heard of (and as such, I’d never order). We had the kerapu / grouper fish grilled, which was a good choice as the sauce was nice and not spicy. The tauge tumis (wok-fried bean sprouts) was especially good as the vegetable was still firm with just the right amount of seasoning. Another good dish was the prawn cooked in butter and soy sauce (udang masak mentega).
Our meal for three came to about IDR 450k which was quite acceptable in my book. Also, as we came early around 6:30pm on a weekday, there were not too many customers and our orders were brought out...

The Tumis Tauge was OK, but no extra garlic detected. The Cah Kangkung was pathetic, whole plate was stems - 70% stems and 30% leaves, also no extra garlic detected. Udang Bakar was not fresh (meat was soft), and bbq sauce was unusual, thinly applied. Their Cumi Goreng Tepung was good meaning not chewy. Fried fish was so-so (don't order this, seriously). Now, the Kepiting Saos Padang did not meet with our expectation, it tasted more like Rica Rica and and sweet. Somehow it has lose its original saos padang taste. Now if the argument is to adjust the herbs and chilli to suit the westerners, then they are making a mistake. C'mon Bu Rini, you must bring back the taste of the old days. For the above reasons, I have to reduce to 3* for overall untill I taste some...
