Warung Akah Sanur — Restaurant in Denpasar Selatan

We recently visited Warung Akah in Sanur and had an incredible experience. The food was absolutely fantastic! We ordered the nasi campur seafood, sate lilit, sate babi, and a pork belly bun, and all of it was of the highest quality. The flavors were well-balanced, and all the dishes were expertly prepared.

The service was also exceptional. The staff were incredibly friendly and polite, and went above and beyond to ensure that we had a great dining experience. Our server was very attentive throughout the meal. Besides that, it's a very nice place with a great atmosphere. Also the place is spotless clean!

What's even more impressive is that all of this came at a very reasonable price - we paid only 200K rupiah for everything we ordered. Including drinks. We would highly recommend Warung Akah to anyone looking for delicious food and excellent service in Sanur.

The regulars at the Hidden Garden Bar often go out dining in various locations. We try places that do not get mentioned on this page. So far we have visited 3 absolutely woeful places. Unbeknown to my friends, I use them as test pilots. However, yesterday's lunch proved to be a real winner. Warung Akah on Jalan Pejang Sari is well worth visiting. It is a 26,000 GoCar ride from the south of Sanur. There is no corkage charge on wine, no added tax and a 5% service fee. For 11 of us the total bill was under 1,700,000. This included 13 Bintangs and 13 mojitoes. I drank 7 of those. Despite only having a small kitchen, the meals came out together. The imported wine was seperate but costs 180,000 per bottle. Wine is not expensive here if you know where to look. I am not too sure how my cobber manages to live in that cup but he also...

What a hidden gem in the less touristy part of Sanur. I went for dinner and was greeted by the friendliest staff you can possibly imagine. It's rare to feel this much welcome. The place is nice, clean, plenty of seating and subtle background music under the beautiful natural roof. The food is every bit as good and nice as the ambience and the staff... I had bao pork belly and klapertart and was not disappointed in my way. I wish I was more hungry to have more food, but I guess I have to come again and often. Parking space is plenty. Pricing is definitely approved for even people on a budget. Pay a visit......
