Bali River Rafting - Best White Water Rafting Bali — Local services in Denpasar Selatan

The rafting experience was great. My wife and I were promptly picked up from our hotel in Nusa Dua at the scheduled time and driven to the rafting start location. Upon arrival we were a little bit lost because nobody attended to us at the reception. We had to ask them to help us out. One of the receptionists was nice and helping out while eating lunch while the other one was busy texting. That was the only downside of this experience. The rafting guide was a pro and super nice and playful. He guided us throughout the 17km Telaga Waja river rafting experience and made sure to brief us ahead of time on the individual drops and the stops we were going to have during the 2-3 hour experience. The nature surrounding the river was beautiful and full of life. A beautifully tasty lunch buffet was provided after. It had nasi goreng, mi goreng, a bourbon chicken equivalent, watermelon, and a couple of soups. Just got back from a great day water rafting & ATV driving. The whole day was seamless & organised so well. Great communication on whatsapp to organise the day. Driver picked us up from hotel in AC vehicle to take us to where we gather for the day activities. All the staff were very friendly & made it super fun, the safety talk was also very good Lunch in between was lovely, hot & cold drinks, rice, noodles, vegetables, chicken & watermelon At the end of the day we took a hot shower where towels were also provided & then our driver took us back to the hotel Overall was a brilliant day we will not forget! Only thing I will mention is that there are a lot of steep steps for the rafting so not great for people of a not average fitness level. With the ATV experience you need to be experienced on these, as a first timer to this theres no way I would have felt confident on this route but I went on with my partners Hope this review...

The river guide service sucks. The Telaga Waja river was awesome. They assigned an inexperience river guide (who i think is only 18-19 years old and goes by the name Gede) who does not know how to steer the raft. There was a large broken tree branch in the rapids and he didn't even steer to avoid it, hence our raft crashed into it and everyone got bruises and scratches. We saw it coming, and the raft in front avoided it. This guide wasn't even helpful when we had difficulty climbing onto raft when the water was deep. After the rafting session ended, he even had the urge to ask everyone for a tip. No decency at all. The lunch was so-so. Ordered drinks at the restaurant and when the bill came, we were charge 25% extra. When asked why, they said its for GST. Oh please, at most GST and service charge would only cost 10% at most. Its obvious this is a rip off. Will consider another tour...
