Bakmi Akiu Nangka has existed since a long time ago as far as I know, but it used to be different. I remember sitting in the wooden chair in what looked like casual outdoor seating and I ordered something with rice. Although the name is Bakmi Akiu, it sold other menus. It was okay.

Nowadays, I see it every where and the appearance has changed. But only until now, I gave it a try. It indeed has changed, menu consists of mostly noodles, and the place totally changed. There are indoor and outdoor seating now, more proper, but more uniformed looking.

The noodle though was disappointing.The noodle was overcooked and everything was very bland. The portions were small and there were nothing special with the food. If I have to describe it, it's almost like first time homemade effort with basic tools, ingredients while consulting a Youtube video. It was a disappointing and rookie meal.

The sizes of the noodles are also questionable. If you look at my picture, there is barely any differences between big and small noodle. To think that noodle should be their specialty, but in reality, most homemade is...
