Bowl Kitchen — Restaurant in Denpasar Utara

We came here as a family, after looking at some nice pictures of the restaurant. We expect to have a good experience. Unfortunately, that was not the case! The staff were friendly and helpful, yes. I should mention those, as well as the interior.

We are usual family and have visited some places in Bali and if the food is good, we will come again. If the food is bad, we will not definitely visit again.

The carbonara came as bland, underseasoned. Similar things happened to my Dory Parmigiana, and our son's chicken parmigiana. The mashed potato was super bland as well as the sauces. The Kimchi Fried rice was okay, but the taste should have been better. The Meat Lover pizza was okay, the crust was thin and crispy, cheese was nice, but the topping was scarce. Our family gathering was not as fun as expected because we couldn't enjoy the food. pricewise for us, not worth the money. better visit other restaurant. Hot mint tea without sugar and strawberry smoothy are good of taste. My indonesian speaking partner ordered spagetthi bolognaise. I ordered a seafood pizza. The spagetthi dish was smaller as suspect (as the menu cart photo). Not the first time, but the spagetthi was almost finished when my pizza was finally served. Spagetthi taste was like baked babmie. Not even close by the taste of spagetthi bolognaise. My pizza was a real thin pizza (more like turkey pizza or dadar). With some toppings on it. My first bite was almost a tooth breker by the shell of a mossel. First get everything out of the shell or peal off the shrimp before start eating. The taste not even close by a nice traditional seafood pizza. Waitress well speaking english was changed for Indonesian speaking waitress when they know my freind speak Indonesian. Foods're terrible. A tuna spaghetti got only 2 pieces of tuna, barely taste like any tuna is in there. In fact, there's barely any taste at all. It's so bland. So goes for the pizza. Also, they got these "gelato" and to be fair, gelato is ice cream in italian, but as far as food goes, gelato and ice cream are different. I'd be willing to bet their "gelato" is just ice cream w fancy word instead of the usual gelato we all know and love. It's very airy, bland, and melted quickly. I'm just gonna recommend this merely for the place, they got good place to hang about, and the chicken skins are crunchy. About the only thing that has good texture...
