ARTIVATOR — Restaurant in Depok

Update in 2023: They need to update the opening hour. I came at nearly 11 am, and they were still preparing. The staffs were not friendly (dan cenderung agak cuek), fortunately they were kind. Service could be improved.

Wifi reception was bad at back-outdoor, and the music was loud. Fortunately in the indoor meeting room, they don't have any speaker and wifi reception is good. Sorry but this is not a quite good place for work from cafe :( 2019: The concept is very interesting, it's a mix of art space slash café. It has a large room containing artworks like painting and modern art. Other spaces are also kind of artsy by using unique element, like statue and artsy details. It has an open space full of greenery, so it's very comfortable if you have to work with your computer, you can refresh your eyes once in a while.

Talking about the food, my food and beverage was so-so and a little pricey for the area, especially for the food - beverage is just fine. It's a good place, but I don't think the staffs are ready for big party, and also they could improve the service of the staff. I was a bit disappointed bcs I asked for separated sugar on my tea order. They didn't do it, but when I asked for new one, I think they just separate the sugar from the previous tea (because after they serve the new one, mine still...

I first visited this café several months ago at 11 AM, but unfortunately, we had to cancel our order because the rice dishes were not ready. Undeterred, I returned a second time during public holiday at 9 AM, having noted their opening time of 8 AM. Initially, I was informed that the food menu wasn't available yet. However, just as I was about to leave, they managed to prepare some items for order (though I overheard the kitchen staff a bit complained as I ordered more items this early morning).

We decided to try a variety of dishes, including fries in a bowl, mac n cheese, their signature coffee (with hints of cinnamon and cardamom), cinnamon toast, and hot chocolate. While the flavors of the food and coffee were decent overall, the mac n cheese could benefit from a bit more seasoning to elevate its taste. The pricing is still reasonable given the place offered.

I’m giving this café a five-star rating only for its artsy, spacious, and cozy ambiance, both indoors and outdoors. It’s an excellent choice for family gatherings or private events.

One suggestion for improvement would be to ensure a stronger commitment to their opening hours; it would be ideal for food to be ready as soon...

Food was great 4,5/5 chicken mozzarella: 4/5, nothing special from this menu, but the mozzarella blend so well snack plate 4,5/5, the chicken is little bit salty but the portion was enough for 2-3 people crispy chicken 4/5, nothing special but okay to try chicken steak 4,5/5, recommended, crispy outside and chewy inside + bunch of potatoes stick sweet ice tea 2/5, it wasn't sweet enough to called as 'sweet' Frappuccino 4/5, just fine, coffee blend with wipe cream and choco chip on top

Venue was great 4/5 Cozy, calm, warm, great facility (musholla and clean bathroom but with dim light-it was prob the minus point) (-) if you choose to sit outdoor, you would probably meet the cats and feel uncomfortable because when it smell food, it came to you. Well, if you're a cat lover you would probably love it.
