Nice coffee shop in Depok Lama area.

Located in a quieter part of Depok Lama, the atmosphere is relaxing. Be minded that the street heading to this place is narrow.

I ordered latte and classic waffle. The coffee is above average. The waffle with syrup was good yet it could be better if it wasn’t sprinkled with soggy sweet corn flakes.

There are several areas I.e. outdoor, covered outdoor and indoor. The atmosphere in the industrial themed outdoor covered area is clean and breezy. Power outlets are plentiful. Several tables are available. Good area to work though would be ideal if there are power outlets around the tables.

The music played is very good and relaxing (now I understand why it is called a ‘Listening Place’)

The service is very good, the staff asked the sweet level of your coffee while explaining where you can sit.

The parking is ok.

The damage for latte and classic waffle is less than Rp 80k.

Emily Listening Space offers both indoor and outdoor seating, but I chose to sit indoors, especially for its cozy vinyl room—an ideal place to relax and enjoy carefully selected music.

Unfortunately, during my visit, a group of loud ladies disrupted the serene atmosphere. Their voices echoed in the room, making the soundscape quite chaotic and giving me a headache.

That said, I really appreciate the staff’s professionalism. They politely reminded the group to lower their voices and emphasized the rule that the indoor area is dedicated to listening to music and maintaining a quiet ambiance. Kudos to them!

The coffee here is another highlight—flavorful, refreshing, and perfect for true coffee lovers who appreciate quality brews.

I came in asking for an Americano but something a bit more refreshing, and they recommended this coffee (can’t remember the name) with flowers on top. It was actually really good—super refreshing, had a hint of lemon, and since it was cold brew, the coffee was lighter. Perfect for a hot day.

The indoor area has a vinyl setup, which is such a vibe. Kinda wish they had more seating inside though it’d be so nice to just chill there, listen to the vinyls, and maybe get some work done.

I wanted to get their waffles too 'cause I’ve tried them before and they were delicious. Not too sweet, topped with some nuts and maple syrup. Sadly, no waffles today guess the batter wasn’t ready yet or something.

Oh and one small note: some of the guys working there kinda act like they’re too cool or something? Haha not all of them, just a few. The girls were all really nice though.
