GARANG ASEM TW — Restaurant in Depok

Located in main road in Depok, Margonda Raya Boulevard. On the roadside with little space for parking so people usually parked in the shophouse parking spot next to the restaurant.

Famous for their Garang Asam menu and they offered level of spiciness from level 1 to level 7, with extra cost. Wanna tried the Chicken Garang Asam Menu, but since they cannot determine whether we got the chicken breast or thigh, ended up ordered Telur Dadar Garang Asam with spicy level 1. Price very reasonable and affordable too. Telur Dadar Garang Asam only cost 12k with rice extra 6k. Sauce taste is just stadard if I compared to other Garang Asam menu I've tried and the telur taste is too salty for my taste and I ended up did not finished the Telur Dadar.

Takeaway Chicken Garang Asam too for 19k each and my family quite like it.

The garang asem menu was not like I kind a expected. But, the taste still delicious. Also the other menu I ordered taste good. Why I give 4 stars is because the "lesehan" area's carpet was smell bad. Just an advice: Just replace it with "tikar" still okay and look authentic (very Indonesia and still match the resto concept). Also...

Lots of food here not only garang asam..for vegetarian, vegan or omnivora.. I try garang asem ayam n iga..the taste just descent.just ok..good thing is it is fresh and i dont taste too much MSG, which is good..i try urap, terancam and the taste was great..the problem only...
